  183. Acts25:14 And when they had been there many days, Festus declared Paul's cause unto the king, saying, There is a certain man left in bonds by Felix:

  184. Acts27:1 And when it was determined that we should sail into Italy, they delivered Paul and certain other prisoners unto one named Julius, a centurion of Augustus' band.

  185. Acts27:27 But when the fourteenth night was come, as we were driven up and down in Adria, about midnight the shipmen deemed that they drew near to some country;

  186. Acts27:30 And as the shipmen were about to flee out of the ship, when they had let down the boat into the sea, under colour as though they would have cast anchors out of the foreship,

  187. Acts28:4 And when the barbarians saw the venomous beast hang on his hand, they said among themselves, No doubt this man is a murderer, whom, though he hath escaped the sea, yet vengeance suffereth not to live.

  188. Acts28:19 But when the Jews spake against it, I was constrained to appeal unto Caesar; not that I had ought to accuse my nation of.

  189. Rom1:9 For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of his Son, that without ceasing I make mention of you always in my prayers;

  190. Rom1:21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

  191. Rom3:7 For if the truth of God hath more abounded through my lie unto his glory; why yet am I also judged as a sinner?

  192. Rom4:17 (As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.

  193. Rom5:15 But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.

  194. Rom5:16 And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offences unto justification.

  195. Rom5:18 Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.

  196. Rom6:13 Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.

  197. Rom8:36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.

  198. Rom9:27 Esaias also crieth concerning Israel, Though the number of the children of Israel be as the sand of the sea, a remnant shall be saved:

  199. Rom9:29 And as Esaias said before, Except the Lord of Sabaoth had left us a seed, we had been as Sodoma, and been made like unto Gomorrha.

  200. Rom9:32 Wherefore? Because they sought it not by faith, but as it were by the works of the law. For they stumbled at that stumblingstone;

  201. Rom10:15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!

  202. Rom11:2 God hath not cast away his people which he foreknew. Wot ye not what the scripture saith of Elias? how he maketh intercession to God against Israel, saying,

  203. Rom11:33 O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out!

  204. Rom12:3 For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.

  205. Rom13:9 For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

  206. Rom13:13 Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying.

  207. Rom15:15 Nevertheless, brethren, I have written the more boldly unto you in some sort, as putting you in mind, because of the grace that is given to me of God,

  208. Rom15:23 But now having no more place in these parts, and having a great desire these many years to come unto you;

  209. 1Cor3:1 And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ.

  210. 1Cor3:5 Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers by whom ye believed, even as the Lord gave to every man?

  211. 1Cor3:10 According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon.

  212. 1Cor3:15 If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.

  213. 1Cor4:1 Let a man so account of us, as of the ministers of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God.

  214. 1Cor4:7 For who maketh thee to differ from another? and what hast thou that thou didst not receive? now if thou didst receive it, why dost thou glory, as if thou hadst not received it?

  215. 1Cor4:9 For I think that God hath set forth us the apostles last, as it were appointed to death: for we are made a spectacle unto the world, and to angels, and to men.

  216. 1Cor4:13 Being defamed, we intreat: we are made as the filth of the world, and are the offscouring of all things unto this day.

  217. 1Cor4:14 I write not these things to shame you, but as my beloved sons I warn you.

  218. 1Cor4:18 Now some are puffed up, as though I would not come to you.

  219. 1Cor5:3 For I verily, as absent in body, but present in spirit, have judged already, as though I were present, concerning him that hath so done this deed,

  220. 1Cor7:7 For I would that all men were even as I myself. But every man hath his proper gift of God, one after this manner, and another after that.

  221. 1Cor7:8 I say therefore to the unmarried and widows, It is good for them if they abide even as I.

  222. 1Cor7:17 But as God hath distributed to every man, as the Lord hath called every one, so let him walk. And so ordain I in all churches.

  223. 1Cor7:25 Now concerning virgins I have no commandment of the Lord: yet I give my judgment, as one that hath obtained mercy of the Lord to be faithful.

  224. 1Cor7:29 But this I say, brethren, the time is short: it remaineth, that both they that have wives be as though they had none;

  225. 1Cor7:30 And they that weep, as though they wept not; and they that rejoice, as though they rejoiced not; and they that buy, as though they possessed not;

  226. 1Cor7:31 And they that use this world, as not abusing it: for the fashion of this world passeth away.

  227. 1Cor8:7 Howbeit there is not in every man that knowledge: for some with conscience of the idol unto this hour eat it as a thing offered unto an idol; and their conscience being weak is defiled.

  228. 1Cor9:5 Have we not power to lead about a sister, a wife, as well as other apostles, and as the brethren of the Lord, and Cephas?

  229. 1Cor9:20 And unto the Jews I became as a Jew, that I might gain the Jews; to them that are under the law, as under the law, that I might gain them that are under the law;

  230. 1Cor9:21 To them that are without law, as without law, (being not without law to God, but under the law to Christ,) that I might gain them that are without law.

  231. 1Cor9:22 To the weak became I as weak, that I might gain the weak: I am made all things to all men, that I might by all means save some.

  232. 1Cor9:26 I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air:

  233. 1Cor10:7 Neither be ye idolaters, as were some of them; as it is written, The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play.

  234. 1Cor10:15 I speak as to wise men; judge ye what I say.

  235. 1Cor11:34 And if any man hunger, let him eat at home; that ye come not together unto condemnation. And the rest will I set in order when I come.

  236. 1Cor12:2 Ye know that ye were Gentiles, carried away unto these dumb idols, even as ye were led.

  237. 1Cor13:11 When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.

  238. 1Cor14:34 Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law.

  239. 1Cor16:10 Now if Timotheus come, see that he may be with you without fear: for he worketh the work of the Lord, as I also do.

  240. 2Cor2:17 For we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God: but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ.

  241. 2Cor3:1 Do we begin again to commend ourselves? or need we, as some others, epistles of commendation to you, or letters of commendation from you?

  242. 2Cor3:5 Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God;

  243. 2Cor5:19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.

  244. 2Cor5:20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.

  245. 2Cor6:4 But in all things approving ourselves as the ministers of God, in much patience, in afflictions, in necessities, in distresses,

  246. 2Cor6:8 By honour and dishonour, by evil report and good report: as deceivers, and yet true;

  247. 2Cor6:9 As unknown, and yet well known; as dying, and, behold, we live; as chastened, and not killed;

  248. 2Cor6:10 As sorrowful, yet alway rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things.

  249. 2Cor6:13 Now for a recompence in the same, (I speak as unto my children,) be ye also enlarged.

  250. 2Cor7:14 For if I have boasted any thing to him of you, I am not ashamed; but as we spake all things to you in truth, even so our boasting, which I made before Titus, is found a truth.

  251. 2Cor7:15 And his inward affection is more abundant toward you, whilst he remembereth the obedience of you all, how with fear and trembling ye received him.

  252. 2Cor9:5 Therefore I thought it necessary to exhort the brethren, that they would go before unto you, and make up beforehand your bounty, whereof ye had notice before, that the same might be ready, as a matter of bounty, and not as of covetousness.

  253. 2Cor10:2 But I beseech you, that I may not be bold when I am present with that confidence, wherewith I think to be bold against some, which think of us as if we walked according to the flesh.

  254. 2Cor10:9 That I may not seem as if I would terrify you by letters.

  255. 2Cor10:14 For we stretch not ourselves beyond our measure, as though we reached not unto you: for we are come as far as to you also in preaching the gospel of Christ:

  256. 2Cor11:3 But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.

  257. 2Cor11:15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.

  258. 2Cor11:16 I say again, Let no man think me a fool; if otherwise, yet as a fool receive me, that I may boast myself a little.

  259. 2Cor11:17 That which I speak, I speak it not after the Lord, but as it were foolishly, in this confidence of boasting.

  260. 2Cor11:21 I speak as concerning reproach, as though we had been weak. Howbeit whereinsoever any is bold, (I speak foolishly,) I am bold also.

  261. 2Cor13:2 I told you before, and foretell you, as if I were present, the second time; and being absent now I write to them which heretofore have sinned, and to all other, that, if I come again, I will not spare:

  262. 2Cor13:7 Now I pray to God that ye do no evil; not that we should appear approved, but that ye should do that which is honest, though we be as reprobates.

  263. Gal1:9 As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.

  264. Gal3:16 Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.

  265. Gal4:12 Brethren, I beseech you, be as I am; for I am as ye are: ye have not injured me at all.

  266. Gal4:14 And my temptation which was in my flesh ye despised not, nor rejected; but received me as an angel of God, even as Christ Jesus.

  267. Gal5:14 For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

  268. Gal6:10 As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.

  269. Eph2:3 Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.

  270. Eph3:5 Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit;

  271. Eph5:1 Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children;

  272. Eph5:8 For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:

  273. Eph5:15 See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,

  274. Eph5:22 Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.

  275. Eph5:23 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.

  276. Eph5:28 So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself.

  277. Eph5:33 Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband.

  278. Eph6:5 Servants, be obedient to them that are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as unto Christ;

  279. Eph6:6 Not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart;

  280. Eph6:20 For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.

  281. Phi1:8 For God is my record, how greatly I long after you all in the bowels of Jesus Christ.

  282. Phi2:8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

  283. Phi2:15 That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;

  284. Phi2:22 But ye know the proof of him, that, as a son with the father, he hath served with me in the gospel.

  285. Col2:6 As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him:

  286. Col2:20 Wherefore if ye be dead with Christ from the rudiments of the world, why, as though living in the world, are ye subject to ordinances,

  287. Col3:12 Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;

  288. Col3:18 Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as it is fit in the Lord.

  289. Col3:22 Servants, obey in all things your masters according to the flesh; not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but in singleness of heart, fearing God:

  290. Col3:23 And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;

  291. Col4:4 That I may make it manifest, as I ought to speak.

  292. 1Th2:4 But as we were allowed of God to be put in trust with the gospel, even so we speak; not as pleasing men, but God, which trieth our hearts.

  293. 1Th2:6 Nor of men sought we glory, neither of you, nor yet of others, when we might have been burdensome, as the apostles of Christ.

  294. 1Th2:7 But we were gentle among you, even as a nurse cherisheth her children:

  295. 1Th2:10 Ye are witnesses, and God also, how holily and justly and unblameably we behaved ourselves among you that believe:

  296. 1Th2:11 As ye know how we exhorted and comforted and charged every one of you, as a father doth his children,

  297. 1Th5:2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.

  298. 1Th5:4 But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.

  299. 1Th5:6 Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.

  300. 2Th2:2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.

  301. 2Th2:4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

  302. 2Th3:15 Yet count him not as an enemy, but admonish him as a brother.

  303. 1Tim5:1 Rebuke not an elder, but intreat him as a father; and the younger men as brethren;

  304. 1Tim5:2 The elder women as mothers; the younger as sisters, with all purity.

  305. 2Tim1:3 I thank God, whom I serve from my forefathers with pure conscience, that without ceasing I have remembrance of thee in my prayers night and day;

  306. 2Tim2:3 Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.

  307. 2Tim2:9 Wherein I suffer trouble, as an evil doer, even unto bonds; but the word of God is not bound.

  308. 2Tim2:17 And their word will eat as doth a canker: of whom is Hymenaeus and Philetus;

  309. 2Tim3:9 But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as theirs also was.

  310. Titus1:5 For this cause left I thee in Crete, that thou shouldest set in order the things that are wanting, and ordain elders in every city, as I had appointed thee:

  311. Titus1:7 For a bishop must be blameless, as the steward of God; not selfwilled, not soon angry, not given to wine, no striker, not given to filthy lucre;

  312. Phmn1:9 Yet for love's sake I rather beseech thee, being such an one as Paul the aged, and now also a prisoner of Jesus Christ.

  313. Phmn1:14 But without thy mind would I do nothing; that thy benefit should not be as it were of necessity, but willingly.

  314. Phmn1:17 If thou count me therefore a partner, receive him as myself.

  315. Heb1:11 They shall perish; but thou remainest; and they all shall wax old as doth a garment;

  316. Heb3:2 Who was faithful to him that appointed him, as also Moses was faithful in all his house.

  317. Heb3:5 And Moses verily was faithful in all his house, as a servant, for a testimony of those things which were to be spoken after;

  318. Heb3:6 But Christ as a son over his own house; whose house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end.

  319. Heb3:8 Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness:

  320. Heb3:11 So I sware in my wrath, They shall not enter into my rest.)

  321. Heb3:15 While it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation.

  322. Heb4:3 For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.

  323. Heb6:19 Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil;

  324. Heb7:9 And as I may so say, Levi also, who receiveth tithes, payed tithes in Abraham.

  325. Heb11:9 By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise:

  326. Heb11:27 By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king: for he endured, as seeing him who is invisible.

  327. Heb11:29 By faith they passed through the Red sea as by dry land: which the Egyptians assaying to do were drowned.

  328. Heb12:5 And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him:

  329. Heb12:7 If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?

  330. Heb12:16 Lest there be any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one morsel of meat sold his birthright.

  331. Heb12:27 And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.

  332. Heb13:3 Remember them that are in bonds, as bound with them; and them which suffer adversity, as being yourselves also in the body.

  333. Heb13:17 Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you.

  334. Jas1:10 But the rich, in that he is made low: because as the flower of the grass he shall pass away.

  335. Jas2:8 If ye fulfil the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well:

  336. Jas2:9 But if ye have respect to persons, ye commit sin, and are convinced of the law as transgressors.

  337. Jas2:12 So speak ye, and so do, as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty.

  338. Jas5:3 Your gold and silver is cankered; and the rust of them shall be a witness against you, and shall eat your flesh as it were fire. Ye have heaped treasure together for the last days.

  339. Jas5:5 Ye have lived in pleasure on the earth, and been wanton; ye have nourished your hearts, as in a day of slaughter.

  340. 1Pet1:14 As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance:

  341. 1Pet1:19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:

  342. 1Pet1:24 For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away:

  343. 1Pet2:2 As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:

  344. 1Pet2:5 Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.

  345. 1Pet2:11 Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;

  346. 1Pet2:12 Having your conversation honest among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation.

  347. 1Pet2:13 Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord's sake: whether it be to the king, as supreme;

  348. 1Pet2:14 Or unto governors, as unto them that are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers, and for the praise of them that do well.

  349. 1Pet2:16 As free, and not using your liberty for a cloke of maliciousness, but as the servants of God.

  350. 1Pet2:25 For ye were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls.

  351. 1Pet3:6 Even as Sara obeyed Abraham, calling him lord: whose daughters ye are, as long as ye do well, and are not afraid with any amazement.

  352. 1Pet3:7 Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered.

  353. 1Pet3:16 Having a good conscience; that, whereas they speak evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ.

  354. 1Pet4:10 As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.

  355. 1Pet4:11 If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

  356. 1Pet4:12 Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:

  357. 1Pet4:15 But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men's matters.

  358. 1Pet4:16 Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf.

  359. 1Pet4:19 Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator.

  360. 1Pet5:3 Neither as being lords over God's heritage, but being ensamples to the flock.

  361. 1Pet5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

  362. 1Pet5:12 By Silvanus, a faithful brother unto you, as I suppose, I have written briefly, exhorting, and testifying that this is the true grace of God wherein ye stand.

  363. 2Pet1:19 We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:

  364. 2Pet2:1 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.

  365. 2Pet2:12 But these, as natural brute beasts, made to be taken and destroyed, speak evil of the things that they understand not; and shall utterly perish in their own corruption;

  366. 2Pet3:8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
