[bbe] In the four hundred and eightieth year after the children of Israel came out of the land of Egypt, in the fourth year that Solomon was king of Israel, in the month Ziv, which is the second month, the building of the Lord's house was started.

[bbe] The house which Solomon made for the Lord was sixty cubits long, twenty cubits wide and thirty cubits high.

[bbe] The covered way before the Temple of the house was twenty cubits long, as wide as the house, and ten cubits wide in front of the house.

[bbe] And for the house he made windows, with network across.

[big5] 靠著殿牆，圍著外殿內殿，造了三層旁屋；
[bbe] And against the walls all round, and against the walls of the Temple and of the inmost room, he put up wings, with side rooms all round:

[big5] 下層寬五肘，中層寬六肘，上層寬七肘。殿外旁屋的梁木擱在殿牆坎上，免得插入殿牆。
[bbe] The lowest line of them being five cubits wide, the middle six cubits wide and the third seven cubits; for there was a space all round the outside walls of the house so that the boards supporting the rooms did not have to be fixed in the walls of the house.

[big5] 建殿是用山中鑿成的石頭。建殿的時候，鎚子、斧子，和別樣鐵器的響聲都沒有聽見。
[bbe] (And the stones used in the building of the house were squared at the place where they were cut out; there was no sound of hammer or axe or any iron instrument while they were building the house.)
[dunv] 建<01129><8736>殿<01004>是用山中鑿<04551>成<08003>的石頭<068>{<01129>}{<8736>}。建<01129><8736>殿<01004>的時候，鎚子<04717>、斧子<01631>，和別樣鐵<01270>器<03627>的響聲都沒有聽見<08085><8738>。
[big5] 在殿右邊當中的旁屋有門，門內有旋螺的樓梯，可以上到第二層，從第二層可以上到第三層。
[bbe] The door to the lowest side rooms was in the right side of the house; and they went up by twisting steps into the middle rooms, and from the middle into the third.
[dunv] 在殿<01004>右<03233>邊<03802>當中的旁屋有{<08484>}{<06763>}門<06607>，門內有旋螺的樓梯<03883>，可以上<05927><8799>到第二<08484>層，從第二<08484>層可以上到第三<07992>層。
[big5] 所羅門建殿，安置香柏木的棟梁，又用香柏木板遮蓋。
[bbe] So he put up the house and made it complete, roofing it with boards of cedar-wood.
[dunv] 所羅門建<01129><8799>殿<01004>{<03615>}{<8762>}，安置香柏木的棟梁<01356>，又用香柏木<0730>板<07713>遮蓋<05603><8799>{<01004>}。
[big5] 靠著殿所造的旁屋，每層高五肘，香柏木的棟梁擱在殿牆坎上。
[bbe] And he put up the line of side rooms against the walls of the house, fifteen cubits high, resting against the house on boards of cedar-wood.

[bbe] (And the word of the Lord came to Solomon, saying,

[big5] 論到你所建的這殿，你若遵行我的律例，謹守我的典章，遵從我的一切誡命，我必向你應驗我所應許你父親大衛的話。
[bbe] About this house which you are building: if you will keep my laws and give effect to my decisions and be guided by my rules, I will give effect to my word which I gave to David your father.
[dunv] 論到你所建<01129><8802>的這殿<01004>，你若遵行<03212><8799>我的律例<02708>，謹守<06213><8799>我的典章<04941>，遵<03212><8800>從<08104><8804>我的一切誡命<04687>，我必向你應驗<06965><8689>我所應許<01696><8765>你父親<01>大衛<01732>的話<01697>。
[big5] 我必住在以色列人中間，並不丟棄我民以色列。
[bbe] And I will be ever among the children of Israel, and will not go away from my people.

[bbe] So Solomon made the building of the house complete.)

[bbe] The walls of the house were covered inside with cedar-wood boards; from the floor to the roof of the house they were covered inside with wood; and the floor was covered with boards of cypress-wood.
[dunv] {<01129>}{<8799>}殿<01004>裡面<01004>用香柏木<0730>板<06763>貼牆<07023>，{<01004>}從地<07172>到棚<07023>頂<05604>{<01004>}都用木板<06086>遮蔽<06823><8765>，又用松木<01265>板<06763>鋪<06823><8762>{<01004>}地<07172>。
[big5] 內殿，就是至聖所，長二十肘，從地到棚頂用香柏木板遮蔽【或作隔斷】。
[bbe] And at the back of the house a further space of twenty cubits was shut in with boards of cedar-wood, for the inmost room.
[dunv] {<01129>}{<8799>}內殿<01004>，就是至<06944>聖<06944>所<01687>，{<03411>}長二十<06242>肘<0520>，從地<07172>到棚<07023>頂{<01004>}{<04480>}用香柏木<0730>板<06763>遮蔽<01129><8799>【或作隔斷】。
[big5] 內殿前的外殿，長四十肘。
[bbe] And the house, that is, the Temple, in front of the holy place was forty cubits long.

[big5] 殿裡一點石頭都不顯露，一概用香柏木遮蔽；上面刻著野瓜和初開的花。
[bbe] (All the inside of the house was cedar-wood, ornamented with designs of buds and flowers; no stonework was to be seen inside.)
[dunv] 殿<01004>裡<06441>一點石頭<068>都不顯露<07200><8738>，一概用香柏木<0730>遮蔽；{<0730>}上面刻<04734>著野瓜<06497>和初開<06362><8803>的花<06731>。
[big5] 殿裡預備了內殿，好安放耶和華的約櫃。
[bbe] And he made ready an inmost room in the middle of the house, in which to put the ark of the agreement of the Lord.
[dunv] 殿<01004>裡<08432>預備了<03559><8689>內<06441>殿<01687>，好安放<05414><8800>耶和華<03068>的約<01285>櫃<0727>。
[big5] 內殿長二十肘，寬二十肘，高二十肘，牆面都貼上精金；又用香柏木做壇，包上精金。
[bbe] And the inmost room was twenty cubits square and twenty cubits high, plated over with clear gold, and he made an altar of cedar-wood, plating it with gold.

[bbe] Solomon had all the inside of the house covered with gold, and he put chains of gold across in front of the inmost room, which itself was covered with gold.
[dunv] 所羅門<08010>用精<05462><8803>金<02091>貼了<06823><8762>殿<01004>內<06441>的牆，又用金<02091>鍊子<07572><8675><07572>掛在內殿<01687>前<06440>門扇<05674><8762>，用金<02091>包裹<06823><8762>。
[big5] 全殿都貼上金子，直到貼完；內殿前的壇，也都用金包裹。
[bbe] Plates of gold were put all through the house till it was covered completely (and the altar in the inmost room was all covered with gold).
[dunv] 全殿<01004>都貼<06823><8765>上金子<02091>，直到貼完<08552><8800>{<01004>}；內殿<01687>前的壇<04196>，也都用金<02091>包裹<06823><8765>。
[big5] 他用橄欖木做兩個基路伯，各高十肘，安在內殿。
[bbe] In the inmost room he made two winged beings of olive-wood, ten cubits high;
[dunv] 他用橄欖<08081>木<06086>做<06213><8799>兩個<08147>基路伯<03742>，各高<06967>十<06235>肘<0520>，安在內殿<01687>。
[big5] 這一個基路伯有兩個翅膀，各長五肘，從這翅膀尖到那翅膀尖共有十肘；
[bbe] With outstretched wings five cubits wide; the distance from the edge of one wing to the edge of the other was ten cubits.
[dunv] 這一個基路伯<03742>{<03742>}有兩個翅膀<03671>，{<0259>}{<08145>}{<03671>}各長五<02568>{<02568>}肘<0520>{<0520>}，從這翅膀<03671>尖<07098>到那翅膀<03671>尖<07098>共有十<06235>肘<0520>；
[big5] 那一個基路伯的兩個翅膀也是十肘，兩個基路伯的尺寸、形像都是一樣。
[bbe] The two winged ones were ten cubits high, of the same size and form.
[dunv] 那一個<08145>基路伯<03742>的兩個翅膀也是十<06235>肘<0520>，兩個<08147>基路伯<03742>的尺寸<04060>{<0259>}、形像<07095>都是一樣<0259>。
[big5] 這基路伯高十肘，那基路伯也是如此。
[bbe] The two of them were ten cubits high.
[dunv] 這<0259>基路伯<03742>高<06967>十<06235>肘<0520>，那<08145>基路伯<03742>也是如此。
[big5] 他將兩個基路伯安在內殿裡；基路伯的翅膀是張開的，這基路伯的一個翅膀挨著這邊的牆，那基路伯的一個翅膀挨著那邊的牆，裡邊的兩個翅膀在殿中間彼此相接；
[bbe] These were placed inside the inner house, their outstretched wings touching the walls of the house, one touching one wall and one the other, while their other wings were touching in the middle.
[dunv] 他將兩個基路伯<03742>安<05414><8799>在內<06442>殿<01004>裡<08432>；基路伯<03742>的翅膀<03671>是張開<06566><8799>的，這<0259>基路伯的一個翅膀<03671>挨<05060><8799>著這邊的牆<07023>，那<08145>基路伯<03742>的一個翅膀<03671>挨<05060><8802>著那邊<08145>的牆<07023>，裡邊的兩個翅膀<03671>在殿<01004>中間<08432>彼此<03671><03671>相接<05060><8802>；

[bbe] These winged ones were plated over with gold.
[dunv] 又用金子<02091>包裹<06823><8762>二基路伯<03742>。
[big5] 內殿、外殿周圍的牆上都刻著基路伯、棕樹，和初開的花。
[bbe] And all the walls of the house inside and out were ornamented with forms of winged ones and palm-trees and open flowers.
[dunv] 內<06441>殿、外<02435>殿<01004>周圍<04524>的牆<07023>上都刻<07049><8804>著基路伯<03742>{<04734>}、棕樹<08561>，和初開<06362><8803>的花<06731>{<06603>}。

[bbe] And the floor of the house was covered with gold, inside and out.

[big5] 又用橄欖木製造內殿的門扇、門楣、門框；門口有牆的五分之一。
[bbe] For the way into the inmost room he made doors of olive-wood, the arch and the door supports forming a five-sided opening.

[bbe] On the olive-wood doors were cut designs of winged ones and palm-trees and open flowers, all of them, with the doors, plated with gold.

[bbe] Then he made pillars of olive-wood for the way into the Temple; the pillars were square:

[big5] 用松木做門兩扇。這扇分兩扇，是摺疊的；那扇分兩扇；也是摺疊的。
[bbe] And two folding doors of cypress-wood, with two leaves.

[bbe] These were ornamented with designs of winged ones and palm-trees and open flowers, plated over with gold.

[bbe] And the inner space was walled with three lines of squared stones and a line of cedar-wood boards.

[big5] 所羅門在位第四年西弗月，立了耶和華殿的根基。
[bbe] In the fourth year the base of the house was put in its place, in the month Ziv.

[bbe] And in the eleventh year, in the month Bul, which is the eighth month, the building of the house was complete in every detail, as it had been designed. So he was seven years building it.
