1. [big5] 這樣說來，猶太人有什麼長處？割禮有什麼益處呢？
   [bbe] How then is the Jew better off? or what profit is there in circumcision?
   [dunv] 這樣說來<3767>，猶太人<2453>有甚麼<5101>長處<4053>？割禮<4061>有甚麼<5101>益處<5622>呢？
   

2. [big5] 凡事大有好處：第一是神的聖言交託他們。
   [bbe] Much in every way: first of all because the words of God were given to them.
   [dunv] 凡事大有好處<4183><2596><3956><5158>：第一<4412>是神<2316>的聖言<3051>交託<4100><5681>他們。
   

3. [big5] 即便有不信的，這有何妨呢？難道他們的不信就廢掉神的信嗎？
   [bbe] And if some have no faith, will that make the faith of God without effect?
   [dunv] 即便<1487>有不信的<5100><569><5656>，這有何妨呢<1063><5101>？難道<2673>他們<846>的不信<570>就廢掉<2673><2673><5692>神的<2316>信<4102>麼？
   

4. [big5] 斷乎不能！不如說，神是真實的，人都是虛謊的。如經上所記：你責備人的時候，顯為公義；被人議論的時候，可以得勝。
   [bbe] In no way: but let God be true, though every man is seen to be untrue; as it is said in the Writings, That your words may be seen to be true, and you may be seen to be right when you are judged.
   [dunv] 斷乎不能<3361><1096><5636>！不如說<1161>，神<2316>是<1096><5737>真實的<227>，<1161>人<3956><444>都是虛謊的<5583>。如<2531>經上所記<1125><5769>：<3704>你<302>責備人的時候<1722><4675><3056>，顯為公義<1344><5686>；<2532><4571>被人議論<2919><5745>的時候<1722>，可以得勝<3528><5661>。
   

5. [big5] 我且照著人的常話說，我們的不義若顯出神的義來，我們可以怎麼說呢？神降怒，是他不義嗎？
   [bbe] But if the righteousness of God is supported by our wrongdoing what is to be said? is it wrong for God to be angry (as men may say)?
   [dunv] 我且照著<2596>人<444>的常話說<3004><5719>，我們的<2257>不義<93>若顯出<4921><5719>神的<2316>義<1343>來，<5101>我們可以怎麼<5101>說<2046><5692><3361>呢？神<2316>降<2018><5723>怒<3709>，是他不義<94>麼？
   

6. [big5] 斷乎不是！若是這樣，神怎能審判世界呢？
   [bbe] In no way: because if it is so, how is God able to be the judge of all the world?
   [dunv] 斷乎不是<3361><1096><5636>！若是這樣<1893>，神<2316>怎能<4459><2919><0>審判<2919><5692><5719>世界<2889>呢？
   

7. [big5] 若神的真實，因我的虛謊越發顯出他的榮耀，為什麼我還受審判，好像罪人呢？
   [bbe] But if, because I am untrue, God being seen to be true gets more glory, why am I to be judged as a sinner?
   [dunv] {<1063>}若<1487>神的<2316>真實<225>，因<1722>我的<1699>虛謊<5582>越發<4052><5656>顯出{<1519>}他的<846>榮耀<1391>，為甚麼<5101>我還<2089>{<2504>}受審判<2919><5743>，好像<5613>罪人<268>呢？
   

8. [big5] 為什麼不說，我們可以作惡以成善呢？這是毀謗我們的人說我們有這話。這等人定罪是該當的。
   [bbe] Let us not do evil so that good may come (a statement which we are falsely said by some to have made), because such behaviour will have its right punishment.
   [dunv] {<2532>}為甚麼不<3361>說，{<3754>}我們可以作<4160><5661>惡<2556>以<2443>成<2064><5632>善<18>呢？這是<2531>毀謗我們的人<987><5743>{<2532>}{<2531>}{<5100>}說<5346><5748>我們<2248>有這話<3004><5721>。這等人<3739>定罪<2917>是<2076><5748>該當的<1738>。
   

9. [big5] 這卻怎麼樣呢？我們比他們強嗎？決不是的！因我們已經證明，猶太人和希利尼人都在罪惡之下。
   [bbe] What then? are we worse off than they? In no way: because we have before made it clear that Jews as well as Greeks are all under the power of sin;
   [dunv] 這卻<3767>怎麼樣<5101>呢？我們比他們強<4284><5736>麼？決<3843>不是的<3756>！因<1063>我們已經證明<4256><5662>，{<5037>}猶太人<2453>和<2532>希利尼人<1672>都<3956>{<1511>}{<5750>}在罪惡<266>之下<5259>。
   

10. [big5] 就如經上所記：沒有義人，連一個也沒有。
    [bbe] As it is said in the holy Writings, There is not one who does righteousness;
    [dunv] 就如<2531>經上所記<1125><5769>：{<3754>}沒<3756>有<2076><5748>義人<1342>，連一個<1520>也沒有<3761>。
    

11. [big5] 沒有明白的；沒有尋求神的；
    [bbe] Not one who has the knowledge of what is right, not one who is a searcher after God;
    [dunv] 沒<3756>有<2076><5748>明白的<4920><5723>；沒<3756>有<2076><5748>尋求<1567><5723>神<2316>的；
    

12. [big5] 都是偏離正路，一同變為無用。沒有行善的，連一個也沒有。
    [bbe] They have all gone out of the way, there is no profit in any of them; there is not one who does good, not so much as one:
    [dunv] 都是<3956>偏離正路<1578><5656>，一同<260>變為無用<889><5681>。沒<3756>有<2076><5748>行<4160><5723>善<5544>的，連一個也沒有{<3756>}{<2076>}{<5748>}{<2193>}{<1520>}。
    

13. [big5] 他們的喉嚨是敞開的墳墓；他們用舌頭弄詭詐，嘴唇裡有虺蛇的毒氣，
    [bbe] Their throat is like an open place of death; with their tongues they have said what is not true: the poison of snakes is under their lips:
    [dunv] 他們的<846>喉嚨<2995>是敞開的<455><5772>墳墓<5028>；他們<846>用舌頭<1100>弄詭詐<1387><5707>，{<846>}嘴唇<5491>裡<5259>有虺蛇<785>的毒氣<2447>，
    

14. [big5] 滿口是咒罵苦毒。
    [bbe] Whose mouth is full of curses and bitter words:
    [dunv] {<3739>}滿<1073><5719>口<4750>是咒罵<685>{<2532>}苦毒<4088>。
    

15. [big5] 殺人流血，他們的腳飛跑，
    [bbe] Their feet are quick in running after blood;
    [dunv] 殺人流<1632><5658>血<129>，他們的<846>腳<4228>飛跑<3691>，
    

16. [big5] 所經過的路便行殘害暴虐的事。
    [bbe] Destruction and trouble are in their ways;
    [dunv] {<1722>}{<846>}所經過的路<3598>便行殘害<4938>{<2532>}暴虐<5004>的事。
    

17. [big5] 平安的路，他們未曾知道；
    [bbe] And of the way of peace they have no knowledge:
    [dunv] {<2532>}平安<1515>的路<3598>，他們未曾<3756>知道<1097><5627>；
    

18. [big5] 他們眼中不怕神。
    [bbe] There is no fear of God before their eyes.
    [dunv] 他們<846>眼<3788>中<561>{<2076>}{<5748>}不<3756>怕<5401>神<2316>。
    

19. [big5] 我們曉得律法上的話都是對律法以下之人說的，好塞住各人的口，叫普世的人都伏在神審判之下。
    [bbe] Now, we have knowledge that what the law says is for those who are under the law, so that every mouth may be stopped, and all men may be judged by God:
    [dunv] {<1161>}我們曉得<1492><5758>{<3754>}{<3745>}律法<3551>上的話<3004><5719>都是對律法<3551>以下<1722>之人說<2980><5719>的，好<2443>塞住<5420><5652>各人<3956>的口<4750>，叫<2532>普<3956>世<2889>的人都{<1096>}{<5638>}伏在神<2316>審判之下<5267>。
    

20. [big5] 所以凡有血氣的，沒有一個因行律法能在神面前稱義，因為律法本是叫人知罪。
    [bbe] Because by the works of the law no man is able to have righteousness in his eyes, for through the law comes the knowledge of sin.
    [dunv] 所以<1360>凡<3956>有血氣的<4561>，沒有<3756>一個因<1537>行<2041>律法<3551>能在神{<846>}面前<1799>稱義<1344><5701>，因為<1063>{<1223>}律法<3551>本是叫人知<1922>罪<266>。
    

21. [big5] 但如今，神的義在律法以外已經顯明出來，有律法和先知為證：
    [bbe] But now without the law there is a revelation of the righteousness of God, to which witness is given by the law and the prophets;
    [dunv] 但<1161>如今<3570>，神的<2316>義<1343>在律法<3551>以外<5565>已經顯明出來<5319><5769>，有<5259>律法<3551>和<2532>先知<4396>為證<3140><5746>：
    

22. [big5] 就是神的義，因信耶穌基督加給一切相信的人，並沒有分別。
    [bbe] That is, the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ, to all those who have faith; and one man is not different from another,
    [dunv] 就是<1161>神的<2316>義<1343>，因<1223>信<4102>耶穌<2424>基督<5547>加給<1519>一切<3956>{<2532>}{<1909>}{<3956>}相信<4100><5723>的人，{<1063>}並沒<3756>有<2076><5748>分別<1293>。
    

23. [big5] 因為世人都犯了罪，虧缺了神的榮耀；
    [bbe] For all have done wrong and are far from the glory of God;
    [dunv] 因為<1063>世人<3956>都犯了罪<264><5627>，{<2532>}虧缺了<5302><5743>神的<2316>榮耀<1391>；
    

24. [big5] 如今卻蒙神的恩典，因基督耶穌的救贖，就白白的稱義。
    [bbe] And they may have righteousness put to their credit, freely, by his grace, through the salvation which is in Christ Jesus:
    [dunv] 如今卻蒙神的{<846>}恩典<5485>，因<1223>基督<5547>耶穌<2424>的<1722>救贖<629>，就白白的<1432>稱義<1344><5746>。
    

25. [big5] 神設立耶穌作挽回祭，是憑著耶穌的血，藉著人的信，要顯明神的義；因為他用忍耐的心寬容人先時所犯的罪，
    [bbe] Whom God has put forward as the sign of his mercy, through faith, by his blood, to make clear his righteousness when, in his pity, God let the sins of earlier times go without punishment;
    [dunv] 神<2316>設立<4388><5639>耶穌{<3739>}作挽回祭<2435>，是憑著<1722>耶穌的{<846>}血<129>，藉著<1223>人的信<4102>，要<1519>顯明<1732>神的{<846>}義<1343>；因為<1223>他{<2316>}用<1722>忍耐的心<463>寬容<3929>人先時<4266><5761>所犯的罪<265>，
    

26. [big5] 好在今時顯明他的義，使人知道他自己為義，也稱信耶穌的人為義。
    [bbe] And to make clear his righteousness now, so that he might himself be upright, and give righteousness to him who has faith in Jesus.
    [dunv] 好<4314>在<1722>今<3568>時<2540>顯明<1732>他的<846>義<1343>，使<1519>人知道他自己為<1511><5750>義<1342>，也<2532>{<846>}稱信<4102>{<1537>}耶穌<2424>的人為義<1344><5723>。
    

27. [big5] 既是這樣，哪裡能誇口呢？沒有可誇的了。用何法沒有的呢？是用立功之法嗎？不是，乃用信主之法。
    [bbe] What reason, then, is there for pride? It is shut out. By what sort of law? of works? No, but by a law of faith.
    [dunv] 既是這樣<3767>，那裡<4226>能誇口<2746>呢？沒有可誇的了<1576><5681>。用<1223>何<4169>法<3551>沒有的呢？是用立功<2041>之法麼？不是<3780>，乃<235>用<1223>信<4102>主之法<3551>。
    

28. [big5] 所以（有古卷：因為）我們看定了：人稱義是因著信，不在乎遵行律法。
    [bbe] For this reason, then, a man may get righteousness by faith without the works of the law.
    [dunv] 所以<3767>（有古卷：因為）我們看定了<3049><5736>：人<444>稱義<1344><5745>是因著信<4102>，不在乎<5565>遵行<2041>律法<3551>。
    

29. [big5] 難道神只作猶太人的神嗎？不也是作外邦人的神嗎？是的，也作外邦人的神。
    [bbe] Or is God the God of Jews only? is he not in the same way the God of Gentiles? Yes, of Gentiles:
    [dunv] 難道<2228>神<2316>只<3440>作猶太人<2453>的神麼？不<3780>也是<1161><2532>作外邦人<1484>的神麼？是的<3483>，也<2532>作外邦人<1484>的神。
    

30. [big5] 神既是一位，他就要因信稱那受割禮的為義，也要因信稱那未受割禮的為義。
    [bbe] If God is one; and he will give righteousness because of faith to those who have circumcision, and through faith to those who have not circumcision.
    [dunv] 神<2316>既是<1897>一位<1520>，他{<3739>}就要因<1537>信<4102>稱那受割禮的<4061>為義<1344><5692>，也要<2532>因<1223>信<4102>稱那未受割禮的<203>為義。
    

31. [big5] 這樣，我們因信廢了律法嗎？斷乎不是！更是堅固律法。
    [bbe] Do we, then, through faith make the law of no effect? in no way: but we make it clear that the law is important.
    [dunv] 這樣<3767>，我們因<1223>信<4102>廢了<2673><5719>律法<3551>麼？斷乎不是<3361><1096><5636>！更是<235>堅固<2476><5719>律法<3551>。
