1. [big5] 二人在以哥念同進猶太人的會堂，在那裡講的，叫猶太人和希利尼人信的很多。
   [bbe] Now in Iconium they went together to the Synagogue of the Jews and gave such teaching that a great number of Jews and Greeks had faith.
   

2. [big5] 但那不順從的猶太人聳動外邦人，叫他們心裡惱恨弟兄。
   [bbe] But those Jews who had not the faith, made the minds of the Gentiles bitter against the brothers.
   

3. [big5] 二人在那裡住了多日，倚靠主放膽講道；主藉他們的手施行神蹟奇事，證明他的恩道。
   [bbe] So they kept there for a long time, taking heart in the Lord, who gave witness to the word of his grace by causing signs and wonders to be done by their hands.
   

4. [big5] 城裡的眾人就分了黨，有附從猶太人的，有附從使徒的。
   [bbe] But there was a division among the people of the town; some were on the side of the Jews and some on the side of the Apostles.
   

5. [big5] 那時，外邦人和猶太人，並他們的官長，一齊擁上來，要凌辱使徒，用石頭打他們。
   [bbe] And when a violent attempt was made by the Gentiles and the Jews, with their rulers, to make an attack on them and have them stoned,
   

6. [big5] 使徒知道了，就逃往呂高尼的路司得、特庇兩個城和周圍地方去，
   [bbe] Having got news of it, they went in flight to the towns of Lycaonia, Lystra, and Derbe, and the country round about:
   

7. [big5] 在那裡傳福音。
   [bbe] And went on preaching the good news there.
   

8. [big5] 路司得城裡坐著一個兩腳無力的人，生來是瘸腿的，從來沒有走過。
   [bbe] And at Lystra there was a certain man, who from birth had been without the use of his feet, never having had the power of walking.
   

9. [big5] 他聽保羅講道，保羅定睛看他，見他有信心，可得痊癒，
   [bbe] This man was giving ear to the preaching of Paul, who, looking at him, and seeing that he had faith to be made well,
   

10. [big5] 就大聲說：你起來，兩腳站直！那人就跳起來，而且行走。
    [bbe] Said in a loud voice, Get up on your feet. And, jumping up, he went walking about.
    

11. [big5] 眾人看見保羅所做的事，就用呂高尼的話大聲說：有神藉著人形降臨在我們中間了。
    [bbe] And when the people saw what Paul had done, they said in a loud voice, in the language of Lycaonia, The gods have come down to us in the form of men.
    

12. [big5] 於是稱巴拿巴為丟斯，稱保羅為希耳米，因為他說話領首。
    [bbe] And they gave the name of Jupiter to Barnabas, and to Paul that of Mercury, because he was the chief talker.
    

13. [big5] 有城外丟斯廟的祭司牽著牛，拿著花圈，來到門前，要同眾人向使徒獻祭。
    [bbe] And the priest of the image of Jupiter, which was before the town, took oxen and flowers to the doors of the town, and was about to make an offering with the people.
    

14. [big5] 巴拿巴、保羅二使徒聽見，就撕開衣裳，跳進眾人中間，喊著說：
    [bbe] But when this came to the ears of the Apostles, Paul and Barnabas, they went running out among the people, parting their clothing, and crying out,
    

15. [big5] 諸君，為什麼做這事呢？我們也是人，性情和你們一樣。我們傳福音給你們，是叫你們離棄這些虛妄，歸向那創造天、地、海、和其中萬物的永生神。
    [bbe] Good people, why are you doing these things? We are men with the same feelings as you, and we give you the good news so that you may be turned away from these foolish things to the living God, who made the heaven and the earth and the sea and all things in them:
    

16. [big5] 他在從前的世代，任憑萬國各行其道；
    [bbe] Who in the past let all nations go in the ways which seemed good to them.
    

17. [big5] 然而為自己未嘗不顯出證據來，就如常施恩惠，從天降雨，賞賜豐年，叫你們飲食飽足，滿心喜樂。
    [bbe] But he was not without witness, because he did good, and gave you rain from heaven and times of fruit, making your hearts full of food and joy.
    

18. [big5] 二人說了這些話，僅僅的攔住眾人不獻祭與他們。
    [bbe] And even with these words, it was hard for them to keep the people from making an offering to them.
    

19. [big5] 但有些猶太人從安提阿和以哥念來，挑唆眾人，就用石頭打保羅，以為他是死了，便拖到城外。
    [bbe] But some Jews came to that place from Antioch and Iconium, and got control over the people; and after stoning Paul, they had him pulled out of the town, taking him for dead.
    

20. [big5] 門徒正圍著他，他就起來，走進城去。第二天，同巴拿巴往特庇去，
    [bbe] But when the disciples came round him, he got up and went into the town: and the day after he went away with Barnabas to Derbe.
    

21. [big5] 對那城裡的人傳了福音，使好些人作門徒，就回路司得、以哥念、安提阿去，
    [bbe] And having made a number of disciples through the preaching of the good news in that town, they went back to Lystra and Iconium and Antioch,
    

22. [big5] 堅固門徒的心，勸他們恆守所信的道；又說：我們進入神的國，必須經歷許多艱難。
    [bbe] Making strong the souls of the disciples, saying to them that they were to keep the faith, and that we have to go through troubles of all sorts to come into the kingdom of God.
    

23. [big5] 二人在各教會中選立了長老，又禁食禱告，就把他們交託所信的主。
    [bbe] And when they had made selection of some to be rulers in every church, and had given themselves to prayer and kept themselves from food, they put them into the care of the Lord in whom they had faith.
    

24. [big5] 二人經過彼西底，來到旁非利亞。
    [bbe] And they went through Pisidia and came to Pamphylia.
    

25. [big5] 在別加講了道，就下亞大利去，
    [bbe] And, after preaching the word in Perga, they went down to Attalia;
    

26. [big5] 從那裡坐船，往安提阿去。當初，他們被眾人所託、蒙神之恩，要辦現在所做之工，就是在這地方。
    [bbe] And from there they went by ship to Antioch, where they had been handed over to the grace of God for the work which they had not done.
    

27. [big5] 到了那裡，聚集了會眾，就述說神藉他們所行的一切事，並神怎樣為外邦人開了信道的門。
    [bbe] And when they came there, and had got the church together, they gave them an account of all the things which God had done through them, and how he had made open a door of faith to the Gentiles.
    

28. [big5] 二人就在那裡同門徒住了多日。
    [bbe] And they were with the disciples there for a long time.
