  158. 1Ki13:13 And he said unto his sons, Saddle me the ass. So they saddled him the ass: and he rode thereon,

  159. 1Ki13:15 Then he said unto him, Come home with me, and eat bread.

  160. 1Ki13:18 He said unto him, I am a prophet also as thou art; and an angel spake unto me by the word of the LORD, saying, Bring him back with thee into thine house, that he may eat bread and drink water. But he lied unto him.

  161. 1Ki13:19 So he went back with him, and did eat bread in his house, and drank water.

  162. 1Ki13:20 And it came to pass, as they sat at the table, that the word of the LORD came unto the prophet that brought him back:

  163. 1Ki13:23 And it came to pass, after he had eaten bread, and after he had drunk, that he saddled for him the ass, to wit, for the prophet whom he had brought back.

  164. 1Ki13:25 And, behold, men passed by, and saw the carcase cast in the way, and the lion standing by the carcase: and they came and told it in the city where the old prophet dwelt.

  165. 1Ki13:26 And when the prophet that brought him back from the way heard thereof, he said, It is the man of God, who was disobedient unto the word of the LORD: therefore the LORD hath delivered him unto the lion, which hath torn him, and slain him, according to the word of the LORD, which he spake unto him.

  166. 1Ki13:27 And he spake to his sons, saying, Saddle me the ass. And they saddled him.

  167. 1Ki13:29 And the prophet took up the carcase of the man of God, and laid it upon the ass, and brought it back: and the old prophet came to the city, to mourn and to bury him.

  168. 1Ki13:31 And it came to pass, after he had buried him, that he spake to his sons, saying, When I am dead, then bury me in the sepulchre wherein the man of God is buried; lay my bones beside his bones:

  169. 1Ki14:2 And Jeroboam said to his wife, Arise, I pray thee, and disguise thyself, that thou be not known to be the wife of Jeroboam; and get thee to Shiloh: behold, there is Ahijah the prophet, which told me that I should be king over this people.

  170. 1Ki14:5 And the LORD said unto Ahijah, Behold, the wife of Jeroboam cometh to ask a thing of thee for her son; for he is sick: thus and thus shalt thou say unto her: for it shall be, when she cometh in, that she shall feign herself to be another woman.

  171. 1Ki14:9 But hast done evil above all that were before thee: for thou hast gone and made thee other gods, and molten images, to provoke me to anger, and hast cast me behind thy back:

  172. 1Ki14:18 And they buried him; and all Israel mourned for him, according to the word of the LORD, which he spake by the hand of his servant Ahijah the prophet.

  173. 1Ki16:7 And also by the hand of the prophet Jehu the son of Hanani came the word of the LORD against Baasha, and against his house, even for all the evil that he did in the sight of the LORD, in provoking him to anger with the work of his hands, in being like the house of Jeroboam; and because he killed him.

  433. Jer27:18 But if they be prophets, and if the word of the LORD be with them, let them now make intercession to the LORD of hosts, that the vessels which are left in the house of the LORD, and in the house of the king of Judah, and at Jerusalem, go not to Babylon.

  434. Jer28:1 And it came to pass the same year, in the beginning of the reign of Zedekiah king of Judah, in the fourth year, and in the fifth month, that Hananiah the son of Azur the prophet, which was of Gibeon, spake unto me in the house of the LORD, in the presence of the priests and of all the people, saying,

  802. Acts21:24 Them take, and purify thyself with them, and be at charges with them, that they may shave their heads: and all may know that those things, whereof they were informed concerning thee, are nothing; but that thou thyself also walkest orderly, and keepest the law.

  805. Acts23:21 But do not thou yield unto them: for there lie in wait for him of them more than forty men, which have bound themselves with an oath, that they will neither eat nor drink till they have killed him: and now are they ready, looking for a promise from thee.

  806. Acts24:3 We accept it always, and in all places, most noble Felix, with all thankfulness.

  807. Acts24:14 But this I confess unto thee, that after the way which they call heresy, so worship I the God of my fathers, believing all things which are written in the law and in the prophets:

  808. Acts25:16 To whom I answered, It is not the manner of the Romans to deliver any man to die, before that he which is accused have the accusers face to face, and have licence to answer for himself concerning the crime laid against him.

  809. Acts26:20 But shewed first unto them of Damascus, and at Jerusalem, and throughout all the coasts of Judaea, and then to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God, and do works meet for repentance.

  810. Acts26:22 Having therefore obtained help of God, I continue unto this day, witnessing both to small and great, saying none other things than those which the prophets and Moses did say should come:

  811. Acts26:23 That Christ should suffer, and that he should be the first that should rise from the dead, and should shew light unto the people, and to the Gentiles.

  812. Acts26:27 King Agrippa, believest thou the prophets? I know that thou believest.

  813. Acts27:43 But the centurion, willing to save Paul, kept them from their purpose; and commanded that they which could swim should cast themselves first into the sea, and get to land:

  814. Acts28:23 And when they had appointed him a day, there came many to him into his lodging; to whom he expounded and testified the kingdom of God, persuading them concerning Jesus, both out of the law of Moses, and out of the prophets, from morning till evening.

  815. Acts28:25 And when they agreed not among themselves, they departed, after that Paul had spoken one word, Well spake the Holy Ghost by Esaias the prophet unto our fathers,

  816. Rom1:2 (Which he had promised afore by his prophets in the holy scriptures,)

  817. Rom1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

  818. Rom2:9 Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile;

  819. Rom2:10 But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile:

  820. Rom2:20 An instructor of the foolish, a teacher of babes, which hast the form of knowledge and of the truth in the law.

  821. Rom3:21 But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;

  822. Rom3:25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;

  823. Rom4:18 Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be.

  824. Rom5:13 (For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law.

  825. Rom8:29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.

  826. Rom8:30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.

  827. Rom9:29 And as Esaias said before, Except the Lord of Sabaoth had left us a seed, we had been as Sodoma, and been made like unto Gomorrha.

  828. Rom10:19 But I say, Did not Israel know? First Moses saith, I will provoke you to jealousy by them that are no people, and by a foolish nation I will anger you.

  829. Rom11:2 God hath not cast away his people which he foreknew. Wot ye not what the scripture saith of Elias? how he maketh intercession to God against Israel, saying,

  830. Rom11:3 Lord, they have killed thy prophets, and digged down thine altars; and I am left alone, and they seek my life.

  831. Rom11:35 Or who hath first given to him, and it shall be recompensed unto him again?

  832. Rom15:24 Whensoever I take my journey into Spain, I will come to you: for I trust to see you in my journey, and to be brought on my way thitherward by you, if first I be somewhat filled with your company.

  833. Rom16:7 Salute Andronicus and Junia, my kinsmen, and my fellow-prisoners, who are of note among the apostles, who also were in Christ before me.

  834. Rom16:26 But now is made manifest, and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith:

  835. 1Cor5:9 I wrote unto you in an epistle not to company with fornicators:

  836. 1Cor11:21 For in eating every one taketh before other his own supper: and one is hungry, and another is drunken.

  837. 1Cor11:31 For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged.

  838. 1Cor11:34 And if any man hunger, let him eat at home; that ye come not together unto condemnation. And the rest will I set in order when I come.

  839. 1Cor12:10 To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues:

  840. 1Cor12:28 And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues.

  841. 1Cor12:29 Are all apostles? are all prophets? are all teachers? are all workers of miracles?

  842. 1Cor13:2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.

  843. 1Cor13:8 Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.

  844. 1Cor13:9 For we know in part, and we prophesy in part.

  845. 1Cor14:1 Follow after charity, and desire spiritual gifts, but rather that ye may prophesy.

  846. 1Cor14:3 But he that prophesieth speaketh unto men to edification, and exhortation, and comfort.

  847. 1Cor14:4 He that speaketh in an unknown tongue edifieth himself; but he that prophesieth edifieth the church.

  848. 1Cor14:5 I would that ye all spake with tongues, but rather that ye prophesied: for greater is he that prophesieth than he that speaketh with tongues, except he interpret, that the church may receive edifying.

  849. 1Cor14:22 Wherefore tongues are for a sign, not to them that believe, but to them that believe not: but prophesying serveth not for them that believe not, but for them which believe.

  850. 1Cor14:24 But if all prophesy, and there come in one that believeth not, or one unlearned, he is convinced of all, he is judged of all:

  851. 1Cor14:29 Let the prophets speak two or three, and let the other judge.

  852. 1Cor14:30 If any thing be revealed to another that sitteth by, let the first hold his peace.

  853. 1Cor14:31 For ye may all prophesy one by one, that all may learn, and all may be comforted.

  854. 1Cor14:32 And the spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets.

  855. 1Cor14:37 If any man think himself to be a prophet, or spiritual, let him acknowledge that the things that I write unto you are the commandments of the Lord.

  856. 1Cor14:39 Wherefore, brethren, covet to prophesy, and forbid not to speak with tongues.

  857. 1Cor15:1 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;

  858. 1Cor15:45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.

  859. 1Cor15:46 Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.

  860. 2Cor2:4 For out of much affliction and anguish of heart I wrote unto you with many tears; not that ye should be grieved, but that ye might know the love which I have more abundantly unto you.

  861. 2Cor2:9 For to this end also did I write, that I might know the proof of you, whether ye be obedient in all things.

  862. 2Cor7:8 For though I made you sorry with a letter, I do not repent, though I did repent: for I perceive that the same epistle hath made you sorry, though it were but for a season.

  863. 2Cor8:5 And this they did, not as we hoped, but first gave their own selves to the Lord, and unto us by the will of God.

  864. 2Cor9:5 Therefore I thought it necessary to exhort the brethren, that they would go before unto you, and make up beforehand your bounty, whereof ye had notice before, that the same might be ready, as a matter of bounty, and not as of covetousness.

  878. Col1:17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.

  879. Col1:18 And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.

  880. 1Th2:15 Who both killed the Lord Jesus, and their own prophets, and have persecuted us; and they please not God, and are contrary to all men:

  881. 1Th3:4 For verily, when we were with you, we told you before that we should suffer tribulation; even as it came to pass, and ye know.

  882. 1Th4:6 That no man go beyond and defraud his brother in any matter: because that the Lord is the avenger of all such, as we also have forewarned you and testified.

  883. 1Th4:15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.

  884. 1Th4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

  885. 1Th5:20 Despise not prophesyings.

  889. 1Tim5:4 But if any widow have children or nephews, let them learn first to shew piety at home, and to requite their parents: for that is good and acceptable before God.

  890. 1Tim5:24 Some men's sins are open beforehand, going before to judgment; and some men they follow after.

  917. 2Pet1:19 We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:

  918. 2Pet2:1 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.
