  171. Acts10:38 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.

  172. Acts10:44 While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word.

  173. Acts10:45 And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost.

  174. Acts10:47 Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we?

  175. Acts11:12 And the Spirit bade me go with them, nothing doubting. Moreover these six brethren accompanied me, and we entered into the man's house:

  176. Acts11:15 And as I began to speak, the Holy Ghost fell on them, as on us at the beginning.

  177. Acts11:16 Then remembered I the word of the Lord, how that he said, John indeed baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost.

  178. Acts11:24 For he was a good man, and full of the Holy Ghost and of faith: and much people was added unto the Lord.

  179. Acts11:28 And there stood up one of them named Agabus, and signified by the Spirit that there should be great dearth throughout all the world: which came to pass in the days of Claudius Caesar.

  180. Acts13:2 As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them.

  181. Acts13:4 So they, being sent forth by the Holy Ghost, departed unto Seleucia; and from thence they sailed to Cyprus.

  182. Acts13:9 Then Saul, (who also is called Paul,) filled with the Holy Ghost, set his eyes on him,

  183. Acts13:52 And the disciples were filled with joy, and with the Holy Ghost.

  184. Acts15:8 And God, which knoweth the hearts, bare them witness, giving them the Holy Ghost, even as he did unto us;

  185. Acts15:28 For it seemed good to the Holy Ghost, and to us, to lay upon you no greater burden than these necessary things;

  186. Acts16:6 Now when they had gone throughout Phrygia and the region of Galatia, and were forbidden of the Holy Ghost to preach the word in Asia,

  187. Acts16:7 After they were come to Mysia, they assayed to go into Bithynia: but the Spirit suffered them not.

  188. Acts19:2 He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost.

  189. Acts19:6 And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied.

  190. Acts20:10 And Paul went down, and fell on him, and embracing him said, Trouble not yourselves; for his life is in him.

  191. Acts20:23 Save that the Holy Ghost witnesseth in every city, saying that bonds and afflictions abide me.

  192. Acts20:28 Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.

  193. Acts21:4 And finding disciples, we tarried there seven days: who said to Paul through the Spirit, that he should not go up to Jerusalem.

  194. Acts21:11 And when he was come unto us, he took Paul's girdle, and bound his own hands and feet, and said, Thus saith the Holy Ghost, So shall the Jews at Jerusalem bind the man that owneth this girdle, and shall deliver him into the hands of the Gentiles.

  195. Acts28:25 And when they agreed not among themselves, they departed, after that Paul had spoken one word, Well spake the Holy Ghost by Esaias the prophet unto our fathers,

  196. Rom1:4 And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead:

  197. Rom1:9 For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of his Son, that without ceasing I make mention of you always in my prayers;

  198. Rom1:11 For I long to see you, that I may impart unto you some spiritual gift, to the end ye may be established;

  199. Rom2:29 But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.

  200. Rom5:5 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.

  201. Rom7:6 But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.

  202. Rom7:14 For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin.

  203. Rom8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

  204. Rom8:4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

  205. Rom8:5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.

  206. Rom8:6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

  207. Rom8:9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

  208. Rom8:10 And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.

  209. Rom8:11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

  210. Rom8:13 For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.

  211. Rom8:14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

  212. Rom8:16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

  213. Rom8:23 And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.

  214. Rom8:26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

  215. Rom8:27 And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.

  216. Rom9:1 I say the truth in Christ, I lie not, my conscience also bearing me witness in the Holy Ghost,

  217. Rom14:17 For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.

  218. Rom15:13 Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.

  219. Rom15:16 That I should be the minister of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles, ministering the gospel of God, that the offering up of the Gentiles might be acceptable, being sanctified by the Holy Ghost.

  220. Rom15:18 For I will not dare to speak of any of those things which Christ hath not wrought by me, to make the Gentiles obedient, by word and deed,

  221. Rom15:27 It hath pleased them verily; and their debtors they are. For if the Gentiles have been made partakers of their spiritual things, their duty is also to minister unto them in carnal things.

  222. Rom15:30 Now I beseech you, brethren, for the Lord Jesus Christ's sake, and for the love of the Spirit, that ye strive together with me in your prayers to God for me;

  223. 1Cor2:4 And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power:

  224. 1Cor2:10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.

  225. 1Cor2:11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.

  226. 1Cor2:12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.

  227. 1Cor2:13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

  228. 1Cor2:14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

  229. 1Cor2:15 But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.

  230. 1Cor3:1 And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ.

  231. 1Cor3:16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

  232. 1Cor5:5 To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.

  233. 1Cor6:11 And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.

  234. 1Cor6:17 But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.

  235. 1Cor6:19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?

  236. 1Cor7:34 There is difference also between a wife and a virgin. The unmarried woman careth for the things of the Lord, that she may be holy both in body and in spirit: but she that is married careth for the things of the world, how she may please her husband.

  237. 1Cor7:40 But she is happier if she so abide, after my judgment: and I think also that I have the Spirit of God.

  238. 1Cor9:11 If we have sown unto you spiritual things, is it a great thing if we shall reap your carnal things?

  239. 1Cor10:3 And did all eat the same spiritual meat;

  240. 1Cor10:4 And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ.

  241. 1Cor12:1 Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I would not have you ignorant.

  242. 1Cor12:3 Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost.

  243. 1Cor12:4 Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.

  244. 1Cor12:7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.

  245. 1Cor12:8 For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;

  246. 1Cor12:9 To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit;

  247. 1Cor12:10 To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues:

  248. 1Cor12:11 But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will.

  249. 1Cor12:13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.

  250. 1Cor14:1 Follow after charity, and desire spiritual gifts, but rather that ye may prophesy.

  251. 1Cor14:2 For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries.

  252. 1Cor14:12 Even so ye, forasmuch as ye are zealous of spiritual gifts, seek that ye may excel to the edifying of the church.

  253. 1Cor14:14 For if I pray in an unknown tongue, my spirit prayeth, but my understanding is unfruitful.

  254. 1Cor14:15 What is it then? I will pray with the spirit, and I will pray with the understanding also: I will sing with the spirit, and I will sing with the understanding also.

  255. 1Cor14:16 Else when thou shalt bless with the spirit, how shall he that occupieth the room of the unlearned say Amen at thy giving of thanks, seeing he understandeth not what thou sayest?

  256. 1Cor14:32 And the spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets.

  257. 1Cor14:37 If any man think himself to be a prophet, or spiritual, let him acknowledge that the things that I write unto you are the commandments of the Lord.

  258. 1Cor15:44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.

  259. 1Cor15:45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.

  260. 1Cor15:46 Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.

  261. 2Cor1:22 Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.

  262. 2Cor3:3 Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart.

  263. 2Cor3:6 Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.

  264. 2Cor3:8 How shall not the ministration of the spirit be rather glorious?

  265. 2Cor3:17 Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.

  266. 2Cor3:18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the LORD.

  267. 2Cor5:5 Now he that hath wrought us for the selfsame thing is God, who also hath given unto us the earnest of the Spirit.

  268. 2Cor6:6 By pureness, by knowledge, by longsuffering, by kindness, by the Holy Ghost, by love unfeigned,

  269. 2Cor7:1 Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.

  270. 2Cor11:4 For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.

  271. 2Cor12:15 And I will very gladly spend and be spent for you; though the more abundantly I love you, the less I be loved.

  272. 2Cor12:18 I desired Titus, and with him I sent a brother. Did Titus make a gain of you? walked we not in the same spirit? walked we not in the same steps?

  273. 2Cor13:14 The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen.

  274. Gal3:2 This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?

  275. Gal3:3 Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh?

  276. Gal3:5 He therefore that ministereth to you the Spirit, and worketh miracles among you, doeth he it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?

  277. Gal3:14 That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

  278. Gal4:6 And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.

  279. Gal4:29 But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him that was born after the Spirit, even so it is now.

  280. Gal5:5 For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith.

  281. Gal5:16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.

  282. Gal5:17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.

  283. Gal5:18 But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.

  284. Gal5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,

  285. Gal5:25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

  286. Gal6:1 Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.

  287. Gal6:8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.

  288. Eph1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:

  290. Eph1:14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.

  291. Eph1:17 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:

  302. Eph6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

  303. Eph6:17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

  304. Eph6:18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

  305. Phi1:19 For I know that this shall turn to my salvation through your prayer, and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ,

  306. Phi2:1 If there be therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any bowels and mercies,

  307. Phi3:3 For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh.

  308. Col1:8 Who also declared unto us your love in the Spirit.

  309. Col1:9 For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;

  314. 1Th5:19 Quench not the Spirit.

  317. 2Th2:13 But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:

  318. 1Tim3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.

  319. 1Tim4:1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;

  320. 2Tim1:14 That good thing which was committed unto thee keep by the Holy Ghost which dwelleth in us.

  321. 2Tim4:22 The Lord Jesus Christ be with thy spirit. Grace be with you. Amen.

  322. Titus3:5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

  323. Titus3:6 Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;

  324. Heb1:14 Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?

  325. Heb2:4 God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to his own will?

  326. Heb3:7 Wherefore (as the Holy Ghost saith, To day if ye will hear his voice,

  327. Heb4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

  328. Heb6:4 For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost,

  329. Heb6:19 Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil;

  330. Heb9:8 The Holy Ghost this signifying, that the way into the holiest of all was not yet made manifest, while as the first tabernacle was yet standing:

  331. Heb9:14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

  332. Heb10:15 Whereof the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before,

  333. Heb10:29 Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?

  334. Heb10:39 But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.

  335. Heb12:9 Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live?

  336. Heb12:10 For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but he for our profit, that we might be partakers of his holiness.

  338. Heb13:17 Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you.

  339. Jas1:21 Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.

  340. Jas2:26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

  341. Jas4:5 Do ye think that the scripture saith in vain, The spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to envy?

  342. Jas5:20 Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins.

  343. 1Pet1:2 Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.

  345. 1Pet1:11 Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow.

  346. 1Pet1:12 Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven; which things the angels desire to look into.

  347. 1Pet2:2 As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:

  350. 1Pet2:25 For ye were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls.

  351. 1Pet3:18 For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:
