[big5] 神記念挪亞和挪亞方舟裡的一切走獸牲畜。神叫風吹地，水勢漸落。
[bbe] And God kept Noah in mind, and all the living things and the cattle which were with him in the ark: and God sent a wind over the earth, and the waters went down.
[big5] 淵源和天上的窗戶都閉塞了，天上的大雨也止住了。
[bbe] And the fountains of the deep and the windows of heaven were shut, and the rain from heaven was stopped.
[big5] 水從地上漸退。過了一百五十天，水就漸消。
[bbe] And the waters went slowly back from the earth, and at the end of a hundred and fifty days the waters were lower.
[big5] 七月十七日，方舟停在亞拉臘山上。
[bbe] And on the seventeenth day of the seventh month the ark came to rest on the mountains of Ararat.
[big5] 水又漸消，到十月初一日，山頂都現出來了。
[bbe] And still the waters went on falling, till on the first day of the tenth month the tops of the mountains were seen.
[big5] 過了四十天，挪亞開了方舟的窗戶，
[bbe] Then, after forty days, through the open window of the ark which he had made,
[big5] 放出一隻烏鴉去；那烏鴉飛來飛去，直到地上的水都乾了。
[bbe] Noah sent out a raven, which went this way and that till the waters were gone from the earth.
[big5] 他又放出一隻鴿子去，要看看水從地上退了沒有。
[bbe] And he sent out a dove, to see if the waters had gone from the face of the earth;
[big5] 但遍地上都是水，鴿子找不著落腳之地，就回到方舟挪亞那裡，挪亞伸手把鴿子接進方舟來。
[bbe] But the dove saw no resting-place for her foot, and came back to the ark, for the waters were still over all the earth; and he put out his hand, and took her into the ark.
[big5] 他又等了七天，再把鴿子從方舟放出去。
[bbe] And after waiting another seven days, he sent the dove out again;
[big5] 到了晚上，鴿子回到他那裡，嘴裡叼著一個新擰下來的橄欖葉子，挪亞就知道地上的水退了。
[bbe] And the dove came back at evening, and in her mouth was an olive-leaf broken off: so Noah was certain that the waters had gone down on the earth.
[big5] 他又等了七天，放出鴿子去，鴿子就不再回來了。
[bbe] And after seven days more, he sent the dove out again, but she did not come back to him.
[big5] 到挪亞六百零一歲，正月初一日，地上的水都乾了。挪亞撤去方舟的蓋觀看，便見地面上乾了。
[bbe] And in the six hundred and first year, on the first day of the first month, the waters were dry on the earth: and Noah took the cover off the ark and saw that the face of the earth was dry.
[big5] 到了二月二十七日，地就都乾了。
[bbe] And on the twenty-seventh day of the second month the earth was dry.
[big5] 神對挪亞說：
[bbe] And God said to Noah,
[big5] 你和你的妻子、兒子、兒婦都可以出方舟。
[bbe] Go out of the ark, you and your wife and your sons and your sons' wives.
[big5] 在你那裡凡有血肉的活物，就是飛鳥、牲畜，和一切爬在地上的昆蟲，都要帶出來，叫他在地上多多滋生，大大興旺。
[bbe] Take out with you every living thing which is with you, birds and cattle and everything which goes on the earth, so that they may have offspring and be fertile and be increased on the earth.
[big5] 於是挪亞和他的妻子、兒子、兒婦都出來了。
[bbe] And Noah went out with his sons and his wife and his sons' wives;
[big5] 一切走獸、昆蟲、飛鳥，和地上所有的動物，各從其類，也都出了方舟。
[bbe] And every beast and bird and every living thing of every sort which goes on the earth, went out of the ark.
[big5] 挪亞為耶和華築了一座壇，拿各類潔淨的牲畜、飛鳥獻在壇上為燔祭。
[bbe] And Noah made an altar to the Lord, and from every clean beast and bird he made burned offerings on the altar.
[big5] 耶和華聞那馨香之氣，就心裡說：我不再因人的緣故咒詛地（人從小時心裡懷著惡念），也不再按著我才行的滅各種的活物了。
[bbe] And when the sweet smell came up to the Lord, he said in his heart, I will not again put a curse on the earth because of man, for the thoughts of man's heart are evil from his earliest days; never again will I send destruction on all living things as I have done.
[big5] 地還存留的時候，稼穡、寒暑、冬夏、晝夜就永不停息了。
[bbe] While the earth goes on, seed time and the getting in of the grain, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night, will not come to an end.
