[big5] 當人在世上多起來、又生女兒的時候，
[bbe] And after a time, when men were increasing on the earth, and had daughters,
[big5] 神的兒子們看見人的女子美貌，就隨意挑選，娶來為妻。
[bbe] The sons of God saw that the daughters of men were fair; and they took wives for themselves from those who were pleasing to them.
[big5] 耶和華說：人既屬乎血氣，我的靈就不永遠住在他裡面；然而他的日子還可到一百二十年。
[bbe] And the Lord said, My spirit will not be in man for ever, for he is only flesh; so the days of his life will be a hundred and twenty years.
[big5] 那時候有偉人在地上，後來神的兒子們和人的女子們交合生子；那就是上古英武有名的人。
[bbe] There were men of great strength and size on the earth in those days; and after that, when the sons of God had connection with the daughters of men, they gave birth to children: these were the great men of old days, the men of great name.
[big5] 耶和華見人在地上罪惡很大，終日所思想的盡都是惡，
[bbe] And the Lord saw that the sin of man was great on the earth, and that all the thoughts of his heart were evil.
[big5] 耶和華就後悔造人在地上，心中憂傷。
[bbe] And the Lord had sorrow because he had made man on the earth, and grief was in his heart.
[big5] 耶和華說：我要將所造的人和走獸，並昆蟲，以及空中的飛鳥，都從地上除滅，因為我造他們後悔了。
[bbe] And the Lord said, I will take away man, whom I have made, from the face of the earth, even man and beast and that which goes on the earth and every bird of the air; for I have sorrow for having made them.
[big5] 惟有挪亞在耶和華眼前蒙恩。
[bbe] But Noah had grace in the eyes of God.
[big5] 挪亞的後代記在下面。挪亞是個義人，在當時的世代是個完全人。挪亞與神同行。
[bbe] These are the generations of Noah. Noah was an upright man and without sin in his generation: he went in the ways of God.
[big5] 挪亞生了三個兒子，就是閃、含、雅弗。
[bbe] And Noah had three sons, Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
[big5] 世界在神面前敗壞，地上滿了強暴。
[bbe] And the earth was evil in God's eyes and full of violent ways.
[big5] 神觀看世界，見是敗壞了；凡有血氣的人在地上都敗壞了行為。
[bbe] And God, looking on the earth, saw that it was evil: for the way of all flesh had become evil on the earth.
[big5] 神就對挪亞說：凡有血氣的人，他的盡頭已經來到我面前；因為地上滿了他們的強暴，我要把他們和地一併毀滅。
[bbe] And God said to Noah, The end of all flesh has come; the earth is full of their violent doings, and now I will put an end to them with the earth.
[big5] 你要用歌斐木造一隻方舟，分一間一間地造，裡外抹上松香。
[bbe] Make for yourself an ark of gopher wood with rooms in it, and make it safe from the water inside and out.
[big5] 方舟的造法乃是這樣：要長三百肘，寬五十肘，高三十肘。
[bbe] And this is the way you are to make it: it is to be three hundred cubits long, fifty cubits wide, and thirty cubits high.
[big5] 方舟上邊要留透光處，高一肘。方舟的門要開在旁邊。方舟要分上、中、下三層。
[bbe] You are to put a window in the ark, a cubit from the roof, and a door in the side of it, and you are to make it with a lower and second and third floors.
[big5] 看哪，我要使洪水氾濫在地上，毀滅天下；凡地上有血肉、有氣息的活物，無一不死。
[bbe] For truly, I will send a great flow of waters over the earth, for the destruction from under the heaven of all flesh in which is the breath of life; everything on the earth will come to an end.
[big5] 我卻要與你立約；你同你的妻，與兒子兒婦，都要進入方舟。
[bbe] But with you I will make an agreement; and you will come into the ark, you and your sons and your wife and your sons' wives with you.
[big5] 凡有血肉的活物，每樣兩個，一公一母，你要帶進方舟，好在你那裡保全生命。
[bbe] And you will take with you into the ark two of every sort of living thing, and keep them safe with you; they will be male and female.
[big5] 飛鳥各從其類，牲畜各從其類，地上的昆蟲各從其類，每樣兩個，要到你那裡，好保全生命。
[bbe] Two of every sort of bird and cattle and of every sort of living thing which goes on the earth will you take with you to keep them from destruction.
[big5] 你要拿各樣食物積蓄起來，好作你和他們的食物。
[bbe] And make a store of every sort of food for yourself and them.
[big5] 挪亞就這樣行。凡神所吩咐的，他都照樣行了。
[bbe] And all these things Noah did; as God said, so he did.
