[big5] 以色列的眾子，各帶家眷，和雅各一同來到埃及。他們的名字記在下面。
[bbe] Now these are the names of the sons of Israel who came into Egypt; every man and his family came with Jacob.
[dunv] 以色列<03478>的眾子<01121>，{<0376>}各帶家眷<01004>，和雅各<03290>一同{<0935>}{<8804>}來到<0935><8802>埃及<04714>。他們的名字<08034>記在下面。
[big5] 有流便、西緬、利未、猶大、
[bbe] Reuben, Simeon, Levi, and Judah;
[dunv] 有流便<07205>、西緬<08095>、利未<03878>、猶大<03063>、
[big5] 以薩迦、西布倫、便雅憫、
[bbe] Issachar, Zebulun, and Benjamin;
[dunv] 以薩迦<03485>、西布倫<02074>、便雅憫<01144>、
[big5] 但、拿弗他利、迦得、亞設。
[bbe] Dan and Naphtali, Gad and Asher.
[dunv] 但<01835>、拿弗他利<05321>、迦得<01410>、亞設<0836>。
[big5] 凡從雅各而生的，共有七十人。約瑟已經在埃及。
[bbe] All the offspring of Jacob were seventy persons: and Joseph had come to Egypt before them.
[dunv] 凡從雅各<03290>{<03409>}而生<03318><8802>的{<05315>}，共有七十<07657>人<05315>。約瑟<03130>已經在埃及<04714>。
[big5] 約瑟和他的弟兄，並那一代的人，都死了。
[bbe] Then Joseph came to his end, and all his brothers, and all that generation.
[dunv] 約瑟<03130>和他的弟兄<0251>，並那一代的人<01755>，都死<04191><8799>了。
[big5] 以色列人生養眾多，並且繁茂，極其強盛，滿了那地。
[bbe] And the children of Israel were fertile, increasing very greatly in numbers and in power; and the land was full of them.
[dunv] 以色列<03478>人<01121>生養眾多<06509><8804>，並且繁茂<08317><8799><07235><8799>，極其強盛<03966><03966><06105><8799>，滿<04390><8735>了那地<0776>。
[big5] 有不認識約瑟的新王起來，治理埃及，
[bbe] Now a new king came to power in Egypt, who had no knowledge of Joseph.
[dunv] 有不認識<03045><8804>約瑟<03130>的新<02319>王<04428>起來<06965><8799>，治理埃及<04714>，
[big5] 對他的百姓說：看哪，這以色列民比我們還多，又比我們強盛。
[bbe] And he said to his people, See, the people of Israel are greater in number and in power than we are:
[dunv] 對他的百姓<05971>說<0559><8799>：看哪，這以色列<01121><03478>民<05971>比我們還多<07227>，又比我們強盛<06099>。
[big5] 來吧，我們不如用巧計待他們，恐怕他們多起來，日後若遇什麼爭戰的事，就連合我們的仇敵攻擊我們，離開這地去了。
[bbe] Let us take care for fear that their numbers may become even greater, and if there is a war, they may be joined with those who are against us, and make an attack on us, and go up out of the land.
[dunv] 來<03051><8798>罷，我們不如用巧計<02449><8691>待他們，恐怕他們多起來<07235><8799>，日後若遇<07122><8799>甚麼爭戰<04421>的事，{<01931>}就連合<03254><8738>我們的仇敵<08130><8802>攻擊<03898><8738>我們，離開這地<0776>去<05927><8804>了。
[big5] 於是埃及人派督工的轄制他們，加重擔苦害他們。他們為法老建造兩座積貨城，就是比東和蘭塞。
[bbe] So they put overseers of forced work over them, in order to make their strength less by the weight of their work. And they made store-towns for Pharaoh, Pithom and Raamses.
[dunv] 於是埃及人派<07760><8799>督工<04522><08269>的轄制他們，加重擔<05450>苦害<06031><8763>他們。他們為法老<06547>建造<01129><8799>兩座積貨<04543>城<05892>，就是比東<06619>和蘭塞<07486>。
[big5] 只是越發苦害他們，他們越發多起來，越發蔓延；埃及人就因以色列人愁煩。
[bbe] But the more cruel they were to them, the more their number increased, till all the land was full of them. And the children of Israel were hated by the Egyptians.
[dunv] 只是越發苦害<06031><8762>他們，他們越發<03651>多<07235><8799>起來，越發蔓延<06555><8799>；埃及人就因<06440>以色列<03478>人<01121>愁煩<06973><8799>。
[big5] 埃及人嚴嚴地使以色列人做工，
[bbe] And they gave the children of Israel even harder work to do:
[dunv] 埃及人<04714>嚴嚴的<06531>使<05647><00>以色列<03478>人<01121>做工<05647><8686>，
[big5] 使他們因做苦工覺得命苦；無論是和泥，是做磚，是做田間各樣的工，在一切的工上都嚴嚴地待他們。
[bbe] And made their lives bitter with hard work, making building-material and bricks, and doing all sorts of work in the fields under the hardest conditions.
[dunv] 使<04843><00>他們因做苦<07186>工<05656>覺得命<02416>苦<04843><8762>；無論是和泥<02563>，是作磚<03843>，是作田間<07704>各樣的工<05656>，在一切的工<05656>{<05647>}{<8804>}上都嚴嚴的<06531>待他們。
[big5] 有希伯來的兩個收生婆，一名施弗拉，一名普阿；埃及王對他們說：
[bbe] And the king of Egypt said to the Hebrew women who gave help at the time of childbirth (the name of the one was Shiphrah and the name of the other Puah),
[dunv] 有希伯來<05680>的兩個收生婆<03205><8764>，一<0259>名<08034>施弗拉<08236>，一<08145>名<08034>普阿<06326>；埃及<04714>王<04428>對{<0559>}{<8799>}他們說<0559><8799>：
[big5] 你們為希伯來婦人收生，看他們臨盆的時候，若是男孩，就把他殺了；若是女孩，就留他存活。
[bbe] When you are looking after the Hebrew women in childbirth, if it is a son you are to put him to death; but if it is a daughter, she may go on living.
[dunv] 你們為希伯來婦人<05680>收生<03205><8763>，看<07200><8804>他們臨盆<070>的時候，若是男孩<01121>，就把他殺<04191><8689>了；若是女孩<01323>，就留他存活<02425><8804>。
[big5] 但是收生婆敬畏神，不照埃及王的吩咐行，竟存留男孩的性命。
[bbe] But the women had the fear of God, and did not do as the king of Egypt said, but let the male children go on living.
[dunv] 但是收生婆<03205><8764>敬畏<03372><8799>神<0430>，不照埃及<04714>王<04428>的吩咐<01696><8765>行<06213><8804>，竟存留<02421><00>男孩<03206>的性命<02421><8762>。
[big5] 埃及王召了收生婆來，說：你們為什麼做這事，存留男孩的性命呢？
[bbe] And the king of Egypt sent for the women, and said to them, Why have you done this, and let the male children go on living?
[dunv] 埃及<04714>王<04428>召<07121><8799>了收生婆<03205><8764>來，說<0559><8799>：你們為甚麼<04069>做<06213><8804>這事<01697>，存留<02421><00>男孩<03206>的性命<02421><8762>呢？
[big5] 收生婆對法老說：因為希伯來婦人與埃及婦人不同；希伯來婦人本是健壯的（原文作活潑的），收生婆還沒有到，他們已經生產了。
[bbe] And they said to Pharaoh, Because the Hebrew women are not like the Egyptian women, for they are strong, and the birth takes place before we come to them.
[dunv] 收生婆<03205><8764>對法老<06547>說<0559><8799>：因為希伯來<05680>婦人<0802>與埃及<04713>婦人不同；希伯來婦人本是健壯的（原文作活潑的<02422>），收生婆<03205><8764>還沒有<02962>到<0935><8799>，他們已經生產<03205><8804>了。
[big5] 神厚待收生婆。以色列人多起來，極其強盛。
[bbe] And the blessing of God was on these women: and the people were increased in number and became very strong.
[dunv] 神<0430>厚待<03190><8686>收生婆<03205><8764>。以色列人<05971>多起來<07235><8799>，極其<03966>強盛<06105><8799>。
[big5] 收生婆因為敬畏神，神便叫他們成立家室。
[bbe] And because the women who took care of the Hebrew mothers had the fear of God, he gave them families.
[dunv] 收生婆<03205><8764>因為敬畏<03372><8804>神<0430>，神便叫<06213><8799>他們成立家室<01004>。
[big5] 法老吩咐他的眾民說：以色列人所生的男孩，你們都要丟在河裡；一切的女孩，你們要存留他的性命。
[bbe] And Pharaoh gave orders to all his people, saying, Every son who comes to birth is to be put into the river, but every daughter may go on living.
[dunv] 法老<06547>吩咐<06680><8762>他的眾民<05971>說<0559><8800>：以色列人所生<03209>的男孩<01121>，你們都要丟<07993><8686>在河裡<02975>；一切的女孩<01323>，你們要存留他的性命<02421><8762>。
