[big5] 約瑟進去告訴法老說：我的父親和我的弟兄帶著羊群牛群，並一切所有的，從迦南地來了，如今在歌珊地。
[bbe] Then Joseph went to Pharaoh, and said, My father and my brothers with their flocks and their herds and all they have, are come from Canaan, and are now in the land of Goshen.
[dunv] 約瑟<03130>進去<0935><8799>告訴<05046><8686>法老<06547>說<0559><8799>：我的父親<01>和我的弟兄<0251>帶著羊群<06629>牛群<01241>，並一切所有的，從迦南<03667>地<0776>來了<0935><8804>，如今在歌珊<01657>地<0776>。
[big5] 約瑟從他弟兄中挑出五個人來，引他們去見法老。
[bbe] And he took five of his brothers to Pharaoh.

[big5] 法老問約瑟的弟兄說：你們以何事為業？他們對法老說：你僕人是牧羊的，連我們的祖宗也是牧羊的。
[bbe] And Pharaoh said to them, What is your business? And they said, Your servants are keepers of sheep, as our fathers were before us.
[dunv] 法老<06547>問<0559><8799>約瑟的弟兄<0251>說：你們以可事為業<04639>？他們對法老<06547>說<0559><8799>：你僕人<05650>是牧<07462><8802>羊<06629>的，連我們的祖宗<01>也是牧羊的。
[big5] 他們又對法老說：迦南地的饑荒甚大，僕人的羊群沒有草吃，所以我們來到這地寄居。現在求你容僕人住在歌珊地。
[bbe] And they said to Pharaoh, We have come to make a living in this land, because we have no grass for our flocks in the land of Canaan; so now let your servants make a place for themselves in the land of Goshen.
[dunv] 他們又對法老<06547>說<0559><8799>：迦南<03667>地<0776>的饑荒<07458>甚大<03515>，僕人<05650>的羊群<06629>沒有草<04829>吃，所以我們來到<0935><8804>這地<0776>寄居<01481><8800>。現在求你容僕人<05650>住在<03427><8799>歌珊<01657>地<0776>。
[big5] 法老對約瑟說：你父親和你弟兄到你這裡來了，
[bbe] And Pharaoh said to Joseph, Let them have the land of Goshen; and if there are any able men among them, put them over my cattle.
[dunv] 法老<06547>對<0559><8799>約瑟<03130>說<0559><8800>：你父親<01>和你弟兄<0251>到你這裡來了<0935><8804>，
[big5] 埃及地都在你面前，只管叫你父親和你弟兄住在國中最好的地；他們可以住在歌珊地。你若知道他們中間有什麼能人，就派他們看管我的牲畜。
[bbe] And Jacob and his sons came to Joseph in Egypt, and when word of it came to the ears of Pharaoh, king of Egypt, he said to Joseph, Your father and brothers have come to you; all the land of Egypt is before you; let your father and your brothers have the best of the land for their resting-place.
[dunv] 埃及<04714>地<0776>都在你面前<06440>，只管叫你父親<01>和你弟兄<0251>住在<03427><8685>國中最好的<04315>地<0776>；他們可以住在<03427><8799>歌珊<01657>地<0776>。你若知道<03045><8804>他們中間有<03426>甚麼能<02428>人<0582>，就派<07760><8804>他們看管<08269>我的牲畜<04735>。
[big5] 約瑟領他父親雅各進到法老面前，雅各就給法老祝福。
[bbe] Then Joseph made his father Jacob come before Pharaoh, and Jacob gave him his blessing.

[big5] 法老問雅各說：你平生的年日是多少呢？
[bbe] And Pharaoh said to him, How old are you?
[dunv] 法老<06547>問雅各<03290>說<0559><8799>：你平生<02416>的年<08141>日<03117>是多少<04100>呢？
[big5] 雅各對法老說：我寄居在世的年日是一百三十歲，我平生的年日又少又苦，不及我列祖在世寄居的年日。
[bbe] And Jacob said, The years of my wanderings have been a hundred and thirty; small in number and full of sorrow have been the years of my life, and less than the years of the wanderings of my fathers.
[dunv] 雅各<03290>對法老<06547>說<0559><8799>：我寄居<04033>在世的年<08141>日<03117>是一百<03967>三十<07970>歲<08141>，我平生<02416>的年<08141>日<03117>又少<04592>又苦<07451>，不及<05381><8689>我列祖<01>早在世<02416>{<03117>}寄居<04033>的年<08141>日<03117>。
[big5] 雅各又給法老祝福，就從法老面前出去了。
[bbe] And Jacob gave Pharaoh his blessing, and went out from before him.
[dunv] 雅各<03290>又給法老<06547>祝福<01288><8762>，就從法老<06547>面前<06440>出去了<03318><8799>。
[big5] 約瑟遵著法老的命，把埃及國最好的地，就是蘭塞境內的地，給他父親和弟兄居住，作為產業。
[bbe] And Joseph made a place for his father and his brothers, and gave them a heritage in the land of Egypt, in the best of the land, the land of Rameses, as Pharaoh had given orders.
[dunv] 約瑟<03130>遵著法老<06547>的命<06680><8765>，把埃及<04714>國<0776>最好的<04315>地<0776>，就是蘭塞<07486>境內的地<0776>，給<05414><8799>他父親<01>和弟兄<0251>居住<03427><8686>，作為產業<0272>。
[big5] 約瑟用糧食奉養他父親和他弟兄，並他父親全家的眷屬，都是照各家的人口奉養他們。
[bbe] And Joseph took care of his father and his brothers and all his father's people, giving them food for the needs of their families.
[dunv] 約瑟<03130>用糧食<03899>奉養<03557><8770>他父親<01>和他弟兄<0251>，並他父親<01>全家的眷屬<01004>，都是照<06310>各家的人口<02945>奉養他們。
[big5] 饑荒甚大，全地都絕了糧，甚至埃及地和迦南地的人因那饑荒的緣故都餓昏了。
[bbe] Now there was no food to be had in all the land, so that all Egypt and Canaan were wasted from need of food.
[dunv] 饑荒<07458>甚<03966>大<03515>，全地都絕了糧<03899>，甚至埃及<04714>地<0776>和迦南<03667>地<0776>的人因<06440>那饑荒<07458>的緣故都餓昏了<03856><8799>。
[big5] 約瑟收聚了埃及地和迦南地所有的銀子，就是眾人糴糧的銀子，約瑟就把那銀子帶到法老的宮裡。
[bbe] And all the money in Egypt and in the land of Canaan which had been given for grain, came into the hands of Joseph: and he put it in Pharaoh's house.
[dunv] 約瑟<03130>收聚了<03950><8762>埃及<04714>地<0776>和迦南<03667>地<0776>所有的銀子<03701>{<04672>}{<8737>}，就是眾人糴<07666><8802>糧<07668>的銀子，約瑟<03130>就把那銀子<03701>帶<0935><8686>到法老<06547>的宮裡<01004>。
[big5] 埃及地和迦南地的銀子都花盡了，埃及眾人都來見約瑟，說：我們的銀子都用盡了，求你給我們糧食，我們為什麼死在你面前呢？
[bbe] And when all the money in Egypt and Canaan was gone, the Egyptians came to Joseph, and said, Give us bread; would you have us come to destruction before your eyes? for we have no more money.
[dunv] 埃及<04714>地<0776>和迦南<03667>地<0776>的銀子<03701>都花盡了<08552><8799>，埃及眾人<04714>都來見<0935><8799>約瑟<03130>，說<0559><8800>：我們的銀子<03701>都用盡了<0656><8804>，求你給<03051><8798>我們糧食<03899>，我們為甚麼死<04191><8799>在你面前呢？
[big5] 約瑟說：若是銀子用盡了，可以把你們的牲畜給我，我就為你們的牲畜給你們糧食。
[bbe] And Joseph said, Give me your cattle; I will give you grain in exchange for your cattle if your money is all gone.
[dunv] 約瑟<03130>說<0559><8799>：若是銀子<03701>用盡了<0656><8804>，可以把你們的牲畜<04735>給<03051><8798>我，我就為你們的牲畜<04735>給<05414><8799>你們糧食。
[big5] 於是他們把牲畜趕到約瑟那裡，約瑟就拿糧食換了他們的牛、羊、驢、馬；那一年因換他們一切的牲畜，就用糧食養活他們。
[bbe] So they took their cattle to Joseph and he gave them bread in exchange for their horses and flocks and herds and asses, so all that year he gave them food in exchange for their cattle.
[dunv] 於是他們把牲畜<04735>趕到<0935><8686>約瑟<03130>那裡，約瑟<03130>就拿<05414><8799>糧食<03899>換了他們的牛<04735>、羊<06629>、驢<02543><01241>、馬<05483>；那一年<08141>因換他們一切的牲畜<04735>，就用糧食<03899>養活<05095><8762>他們。
[big5] 那一年過去，第二年他們又來見約瑟，說：我們不瞞我主，我們的銀子都花盡了，牲畜也都歸了我主。我們在我主眼前，除了我們的身體和田地之外，一無所剩。
[bbe] And when that year was ended, they came to him in the second year, and said, We may not keep it from our lord's knowledge that all our money is gone, and all the herds of cattle are my lord's; there is nothing more to give my lord but our bodies and our land;
[dunv] 那一年<08141>過去<08552><8799>，第二<08145>年<08141>他們又來<0935><8799>見約瑟，說<0559><8799>：我們不瞞<03582><8762>我主<0113>，我們的銀子<03701>都花盡了<08552><8804>，牲畜<04735><0929>也都歸了<0413>我主<0113>。我們在我主<0113>眼前<06440>，除了我們的身體<01472>和田地<0127>之外，一無所剩<07604><8738>。
[big5] 你何忍見我們人死地荒呢？求你用糧食買我們和我們的地，我們和我們的地就要給法老效力。又求你給我們種子，使我們得以存活，不致死亡，地土也不致荒涼。
[bbe] Are we to come to destruction before your eyes, we and our land? take us and our land and give us bread; and we and our land will be servants to Pharaoh; and give us seed so that we may have life and the land may not become waste.
[dunv] 你何忍見<05869>我們人死<04191><8799>地<0127>荒呢？求你用糧食<03899>買<07069><8798>我們的我們的地<0127>，我們和我們的地<0127>就要給法老<06547>效力<05650>。又求你給<05414><8798>我們種子<02233>，使我們得以存活<02421><8799>，不至死亡<04191><8799>，地土<0127>也不至荒涼<03456><8799>。
[big5] 於是，約瑟為法老買了埃及所有的地，埃及人因被饑荒所迫，各都賣了自己的田地；那地就都歸了法老。
[bbe] So Joseph got all the land in Egypt for Pharaoh; for every Egyptian gave up his land in exchange for food, because of their great need; so all the land became Pharaoh's.
[dunv] 於是，約瑟<03130>為法老<06547>買了<07069><8799>埃及<04714>所有的地<0127>，埃及人<04714>因被饑荒<07458>所迫<02388><8804>，各<0376>都賣了<04376><8804>自己的田地<07704>；那地<0776>就都歸了法老<06547>。
[big5] 至於百姓，約瑟叫他們，從埃及這邊直到埃及那邊，都各歸各城。
[bbe] And as for the people, he made servants of them, town by town, from one end of Egypt to the other.
[dunv] 至於百姓<05971>，約瑟叫他們，從埃及<04714>{<01366>}這邊<07097>直到埃及那邊<07097>，都各歸{<05674>}{<8689>}各城<05892>。
[big5] 惟有祭司的地，約瑟沒有買，因為祭司有從法老所得的常俸。他們吃法老所給的常俸，所以他們不賣自己的地。
[bbe] Only he did not take the land of the priests, for the priests had their food given them by Pharaoh, and having what Pharaoh gave them, they had no need to give up their land.
[dunv] 惟有祭司<03548>的地<0127>，約瑟沒有買<07069><8804>，因為祭司<03548>有從法老<06547>所得的常俸<02706>。他們吃<0398><8804>法老<06547>所給<05414><8804>的常俸<02706>，所以他們不賣<04376><8804>自己的地<0127>。
[big5] 約瑟對百姓說：我今日為法老買了你們和你們的地，看哪，這裡有種子給你們，你們可以種地。
[bbe] Then Joseph said to the people, I have made you and your land this day the property of Pharaoh; here is seed for you to put in your fields.
[dunv] 約瑟<03130>對百姓<05971>說<0559><8799>：我今日<03117>為法老<06547>買了<07069><8804><0853>你們和你們的地<0127>，看哪<01887>，這裡有種子<01887>給你們，你們可以種<02232><8804>地<0127>。
[big5] 後來打糧食的時候，你們要把五分之一納給法老，四分可以歸你們做地裡的種子，也做你們和你們家口孩童的食物。
[bbe] And when the grain is cut, you are to give a fifth part to Pharaoh, and four parts will be yours for seed and food, and for your families and your little ones.
[dunv] 後來打糧食<08393>的時候，你們要把五分之一<02549>納給<05414><8804>法老<06547>，四<0702>分<03027>可以歸你們做地<07704>裡的種子<02233>，也做{<0398>}{<8800>}你們和你們家口<01004>孩童<02945>的食物<0400>。
[big5] 他們說：你救了我們的性命。但願我們在我主眼前蒙恩，我們就作法老的僕人。
[bbe] And they said to him, Truly you have kept us from death; may we have grace in your eyes, and we will be Pharaoh's servants.
[dunv] 他們說<0559><8799>：你救了<02421><8689>我們的性命。但願我們在我主<0113>眼<05869>前蒙<04672><8799>恩<02580>，我們就作法老<06547>的僕人<05650>。
[big5] 於是約瑟為埃及地定下常例，直到今日：法老必得五分之一，惟獨祭司的地不歸法老。
[bbe] Then Joseph made a law which is in force to this day, that Pharaoh was to have the fifth part; only the land of the priests did not become his.
[dunv] 於是約瑟<03130>為埃及<04714>地<0127>定下<07760><8799>常例<02706>，直到今日<03117>：法老<06547>必得五分之一<02569>，惟<07535>獨祭司<03548>的地<0127>不歸法老<06547>。
[big5] 以色列人住在埃及的歌珊地。他們在那裡置了產業，並且生育甚多。
[bbe] And so Israel was living among the Egyptians in the land of Goshen; and they got property there, and became very great in numbers and in wealth.
[dunv] 以色列人<03478>住在<03427><8799>埃及<04714>{<0776>}的歌珊<01657>地<0776>。他們在那裡置了產業<0270><8735>，並且生育<06509><8799>甚<07235><8799>多<03966>。

[bbe] And Jacob was living in the land of Goshen for seventeen years; so the years of his life were a hundred and forty-seven.

[big5] 以色列的死期臨近了，他就叫了他兒子約瑟來，說：我若在你眼前蒙恩，請你把手放在我大腿底下，用慈愛和誠實待我，請你不要將我葬在埃及。
[bbe] And the time of his death came near, and he sent for his son Joseph and said to him, If now I am dear to you, put your hand under my leg and take an oath that you will not put me to rest in Egypt;

[big5] 我與我祖我父同睡的時候，你要將我帶出埃及，葬在他們所葬的地方。約瑟說：我必遵著你的命而行。
[bbe] But when I go to my fathers, you are to take me out of Egypt and put me to rest in their last resting-place. And he said, I will do so.
[dunv] 我與我祖<01>我父同睡<07901><8804>的時候，你要將我帶出<05375><8804>埃及<04714>，葬在<06912><8804>他們所葬的地方<06900>。約瑟說<0559><8799>：我必遵著你的命<01697>而行<06213><8799>。

[bbe] And he said, Take an oath to me; and he took an oath to him: and Israel gave worship on the bed's head.
