[big5] 神對雅各說：起來！上伯特利去，住在那裡；要在那裡築一座壇給神，就是你逃避你哥哥以掃的時候向你顯現的那位。
[bbe] And God said to Jacob, Go up now to Beth-el and make your living-place there: and put up an altar there to the God who came to you when you were in flight from your brother Esau.

[big5] 雅各就對他家中的人並一切與他同在的人說：你們要除掉你們中間的外邦神，也要自潔，更換衣裳。
[bbe] Then Jacob said to all his people, Put away the strange gods which are among you, and make yourselves clean, and put on a change of clothing:

[big5] 我們要起來，上伯特利去，在那裡我要築一座壇給神，就是在我遭難的日子應允我的禱告、在我行的路上保佑我的那位。
[bbe] And let us go up to Beth-el: and there I will make an altar to God, who gave me an answer in the day of my trouble, and was with me wherever I went.
[dunv] 我們要起來<06965><8799>，上<05927><8799>伯特利<01008>去，在那裡<08033>我要築<06213><8799>一座壇<04196>給神<0410>，就是在我遭難<06869>的日子<03117>應允<06030><8802>我的禱告、在{<0834>}我行<01980><8804>的路<01870>上保佑我的那位。

[bbe] Then they gave to Jacob all the strange gods which they had, and the rings which were in their ears; and Jacob put them away under the holy tree at Shechem.

[bbe] So they went on their journey: and the fear of God was on the towns round about, so that they made no attack on the sons of Jacob.

[bbe] And Jacob came to Luz in the land of Canaan (which is the same as Beth-el), he and all his people.

[big5] 他在那裡築了一座壇，就給那地方起名叫伊勒伯特利【就是伯特利之神的意思】；因為他逃避他哥哥的時候，神在那裡向他顯現。
[bbe] And there he made an altar, naming the place El-beth-el: because it was there he had the vision of God when he was in flight from his brother.
[dunv] 他在那裡<08033>築<01129><8799>了一座壇<04196>，就給那地方<04725>起名<07121><8799>叫伊勒伯特利<0416>【就是伯特利之神的意思】；因為<03588>他逃避<01272><8800>他哥哥<0251>{<06440>}的時候，神<0430>在那裡<08033>向他顯現<01540><8738>。

[bbe] And Deborah, the servant who had taken care of Rebekah from her birth, came to her end, and was put to rest near Beth-el, under the holy tree: and they gave it the name of Allon-bacuth.
[dunv] 利百加<07259>的奶母<03243><8688>底波拉<01683>死<04191><8799>了，就葬<06912><8735>在伯特利<01008>下邊橡樹<0437>底下；那棵樹名<08034>叫<07121><8799>亞倫巴古<0439>。
[big5] 雅各從巴旦亞蘭回來，神又向他顯現，賜福與他，
[bbe] Now when Jacob was on his way from Paddan-aram, God came to him again and, blessing him, said,
[dunv] 雅各<03290>從巴旦亞蘭<06307>回來<0935><8800>，神<0430>又向<0413>他顯現<07200><8735>，賜福<01288><8762>與他，
[big5] 且對他說：你的名原是雅各，從今以後不要再叫雅各，要叫以色列。這樣，他就改名叫以色列。
[bbe] Jacob is your name, but it will be so no longer; from now your name will be Israel; so he was named Israel.
[dunv] {<0430>}且對他說<0559><8799>：你的名<08034>原是雅各<03290>，從今以後{<08034>}不要<03808>再叫<07121><8735>雅各<03290>，{<03588>}{<0518>}要叫{<08034>}以色列<03478>。這樣，他就改名<08034>叫<07121><8799>以色列<03478>。
[big5] 神又對他說：我是全能的神；你要生養眾多，將來有一族和多國的民從你而生，又有君王從你而出。
[bbe] And God said to him, I am God, the Ruler of all: be fertile, and have increase; a nation, truly a group of nations, will come from you, and kings will be your offspring;
[dunv] 神<0430>又對他說<0559><8799>：我是全能<07706>的神<0410>；你要生養眾多<06509><8798><07235><8798>，將來有一族<01471>和多國<01471>的民<06951>從你而生，又有君王<04428>從你{<02504>}而出<03318><8799>。
[big5] 我所賜給亞伯拉罕和以撒的地，我要賜給你與你的後裔。
[bbe] And the land which I gave to Abraham and Isaac, I will give to you; and to your seed after you I will give the land.
[dunv] {<0834>}我所賜給<05414><8804>亞伯拉罕<085>和以撒<03327>的地<0776>，我要賜給<05414><8799>你與你<0310>的後裔<02233>{<05414>}{<8799>}{<0776>}。
[big5] 神就從那與雅各說話的地方升上去了。
[bbe] Then God went up from him in the place where he had been talking with him.
[dunv] 神<0430>就從那<0834>與雅各說話<01696><8765>的地方<04725>升上去<05927><8799>了。
[big5] 雅各便在那裡立了一根石柱，在柱子上奠酒，澆油。
[bbe] And Jacob put up a pillar in the place where he had been talking with God, and put a drink offering on it, and oil.

[bbe] And he gave to the place where God had been talking with him, the name of Beth-el.

[big5] 他們從伯特利起行，離以法他還有一段路程，拉結臨產甚是艱難。
[bbe] So they went on from Beth-el; and while they were still some distance from Ephrath, the pains of birth came on Rachel and she had a hard time.
[dunv] 他們從伯特利<01008>起行<05265><8799>，離<0935><8800>以法他<0672>還有<05750>一段<03530>路程<0776>，拉結<07354>臨產<03205><8799><03205><8800>甚是艱難<07185><8762>。
[big5] 正在艱難的時候，收生婆對他說：不要怕，你又要得一個兒子了。
[bbe] And when her pain was very great, the woman who was helping her said, Have no fear; for now you will have another son.
[dunv] 正在艱難<07185><8687><03205><8800>的時候，收生婆<03205><8764>對他說<0559><8799>：不要<03808>怕<03372><8799>，{<03588>}你又要<01571>得{<02088>}一個兒子<01121>了。
[big5] 他將近於死，靈魂要走的時候，就給他兒子起名叫便俄尼；他父親卻給他起名叫便雅憫。
[bbe] And in the hour when her life went from her (for death came to her), she gave the child the name Ben-oni: but his father gave him the name of Benjamin.
[dunv] {<03588>}他將近於死<04191><8804>，靈魂<05315>要走<03318><8800>的時候，就給他兒子起名<08034>叫<07121><8799>便俄尼<01126>；他父親<01>卻給他起名叫<07121><8804>便雅憫<01144>。
[big5] 拉結死了，葬在以法他的路旁；以法他就是伯利恆。
[bbe] So Rachel came to her end and was put to rest on the road to Ephrath (which is Beth-lehem).

[big5] 雅各在他的墳上立了一統碑，就是拉結的墓碑，到今日還在。
[bbe] And Jacob put up a pillar on her resting-place; which is named, The Pillar of the resting-place of Rachel, to this day.

[big5] 以色列起行前往，在以得臺那邊支搭帳棚。
[bbe] And Israel went journeying on and put up his tents on the other side of the tower of the flock.
[dunv] 以色列<03478>起行<05265><8799>前往，在以得<04029>臺<04026>那邊<01973>支搭<05186><8799>帳棚<0168>。
[big5] 以色列住在那地的時候，流便去與他父親的妾辟拉同寢，以色列也聽見了。雅各共有十二個兒子。
[bbe] Now while they were living in that country, Reuben had connection with Bilhah, his father's servant-woman: and Israel had news of it.

[bbe] Now Jacob had twelve sons: the sons of Leah: Reuben, Jacob's first son, and Simeon and Levi and Judah and Issachar and Zebulun;
[dunv] 利亞<03812>所生的{<01121>}是雅各<03290>的長子<01060>流便<07205>，還有西緬<08095>、利未<03878>、猶大<03063>、以薩迦<03485>、西布倫<02074>。
[big5] 拉結所生的是約瑟、便雅憫。
[bbe] The sons of Rachel: Joseph and Benjamin;
[dunv] 拉結<07354>所生的{<01121>}是約瑟<03130>、便雅憫<01144>。
[big5] 拉結的使女辟拉所生的是但、拿弗他利。
[bbe] The sons of Bilhah, Rachel's servant: Dan and Naphtali;
[dunv] 拉結<07354>的使女<08198>辟拉<01090>所生的{<01121>}是但<01835>、拿弗他利<05321>。
[big5] 利亞的使女悉帕所生的是迦得、亞設。這是雅各在巴旦亞蘭所生的兒子。
[bbe] The sons of Zilpah, Leah's servant: Gad and Asher; these are the sons whom Jacob had in Paddan-aram.
[dunv] 利亞<03812>的使女<08198>悉帕<02153>所生的{<01121>}是迦得<01410>、亞設<0836>。這<01121>是{<0834>}雅各<03290>在巴旦亞蘭<06307>所生<03205><8795>的兒子。
[big5] 雅各來到他父親以撒那裡，到了基列亞巴的幔利，乃是亞伯拉罕和以撒寄居的地方；基列亞巴就是希伯崙。
[bbe] And Jacob came to his father Isaac at Mamre, at Kiriath-arba, that is, Hebron, where Abraham and Isaac had been living.
[dunv] 雅各<03290>來<0935><8799>到<0413>他父親<01>以撒<03327>那裡，到了基列亞巴<07153>的幔利<04471>，{<0834>}乃是亞伯拉罕<085>和以撒<03327>寄居<01481><8804>的地方；基列亞巴就是希伯崙<02275>。
[big5] 以撒共活了一百八十歲。
[bbe] And Isaac was a hundred and eighty years old.
[dunv] 以撒<03327>共活了{<03117>}一百<03967>{<08141>}八十<08084>歲<08141>。
[big5] 以撒年紀老邁，日子滿足，氣絕而死，歸到他列祖【原文作本民】那裡。他兩個兒子以掃、雅各把他埋葬了。
[bbe] Then Isaac came to his end and was put to rest with his father's people, an old man after a long life: and Jacob and Esau, his sons, put him in his last resting-place.
