[bbe] Now the queen of Sheba, hearing great things of Solomon, came to put his wisdom to the test with hard questions.

[big5] 跟隨他到耶路撒冷的人甚多，又有駱駝馱著香料、寶石，和許多金子。他來見了所羅門王，就把心裡所有的對所羅門都說出來。
[bbe] And she came to Jerusalem with a very great train, with camels weighted down with spices, and stores of gold and jewels: and when she came to Solomon she had talk with him of everything in her mind.

[big5] 所羅門王將他所問的都答上了，沒有一句不明白、不能答的。
[bbe] And Solomon gave her answers to all her questions; there was no secret which the king did not make clear to her.

[bbe] And when the queen of Sheba had seen all the wisdom of Solomon, and the house which he had made,

[big5] 席上的珍饈美味，群臣分列而坐，僕人兩旁侍立，以及他們的衣服裝飾和酒政的衣服裝飾，又見他上耶和華殿的臺階【或作他在耶和華殿裡所獻的燔祭】，就詫異得神不守舍；
[bbe] And the food at his table, and all his servants seated there, and those who were waiting on him in their places, and their robes, and his wine-servants, and the burned offerings which he made in the house of the Lord, there was no more spirit in her.

[big5] 對王說：我在本國裡所聽見論到你的事和你的智慧實在是真的！
[bbe] And she said to the king, The account which was given to me in my country of your acts and your wisdom was true.

[big5] 我先不信那些話，及至我來親眼見了才知道人所告訴我的還不到一半。你的智慧和你的福分越過我所聽見的風聲。
[bbe] But I had no faith in what was said about you, till I came and saw for myself; and now I see that it was not half the story; your wisdom and your wealth are much greater than they said.
[dunv] 我先不信<0539><8689>那些話<01697>，及至我來<0935><8804>親眼<05869>見了<07200><8799>才知道人所告訴<05046><8717>我的還不到一半<02677>。你的智慧<02451>和你的福分<02896>越過<03254><8689>我所聽見<08085><8804>的風聲<08052>。
[big5] 你的臣子、你的僕人常侍立在你面前聽你智慧的話是有福的！
[bbe] Happy are your wives, happy are these your servants whose place is ever before you, hearing your words of wisdom.

[big5] 耶和華─你的神是應當稱頌的！他喜悅你，使你坐以色列的國位；因為他永遠愛以色列，所以立你作王，使你秉公行義。
[bbe] May the Lord your God be praised, whose pleasure it was to put you on the seat of the kingdom of Israel; because the Lord's love for Israel is eternal, he has made you king, to be their judge in righteousness.
[dunv] 耶和華<03068>─你的神<0430>是應當稱頌的<01288><8803>！他喜悅<02654><8804>你，使你坐<05414><8800>以色列<03478>的國位<03678>；因為他{<03068>}永遠<05769>愛<0160>以色列<03478>，所以立<07760><8799>你作王<04428>，使你秉公行義<06213><8800><04941><06666>。
[big5] 於是，示巴女王將一百二十他連得金子和寶石，與極多的香料，送給所羅門王。他送給王的香料，以後奉來的不再有這樣多。
[bbe] And she gave the king a hundred and twenty talents of gold, and a great store of spices and jewels: never again was such a wealth of spices seen as that which the queen of Sheba gave King Solomon.
[dunv] 於是，示巴女王將一百<03967>二十<06242>他連得<03603>金子<02091>和寶<03368>石<068>，與極<03966>多<07235><8687>的香料<01314>，送給<05414><8799>所羅門王<04428>。他{<04436>}{<07614>}送給<05414><8804>{<08010>}王<04428>的香料，以後奉來<0935><8804>的{<01314>}不再有這樣<01931>多<07230>。
[big5] （希蘭的船隻從俄斐運了金子來，又從俄斐運了許多檀香木【或作烏木；下同】和寶石來。
[bbe] And the sea-force of Hiram, in addition to gold from Ophir, came back with much sandal-wood and jewels.

[big5] 王用檀香木為耶和華殿和王宮做欄杆，又為歌唱的人做琴瑟。以後再沒有這樣的檀香木進國來，也沒有人看見過，直到如今。）
[bbe] And from the sandal-wood the king made pillars for the house of the Lord, and for the king's house, and instruments of music for the makers of melody: never has such sandal-wood been seen to this day.
[dunv] 王<04428>用檀香<0484>木<06086>為耶和華<03068>殿<01004>和王<04428>宮<01004>做<06213><8799>欄杆<04552>，又為歌唱的人<07891><8802>做琴<03658>瑟<05035>。以後再沒有這樣的檀香<0484>木<06086>進<0935><8804>國來，也沒有人看見過<07200><8738>，直到如今<03117>。〉
[big5] 示巴女王一切所要所求的，所羅門王都送給他，另外照自己的厚意餽送他。於是女王和他臣僕轉回本國去了。
[bbe] And King Solomon gave the queen of Sheba all her desire, whatever she made request for, in addition to what he gave her freely from the impulse of his heart. So she went back to her country, she and her servants.

[bbe] Now the weight of gold which came to Solomon in one year was six hundred and sixty-six talents;

[bbe] In addition to what came to him from the business of the traders, and from all the kings of the Arabians, and from the rulers of the country.

[bbe] And Solomon made two hundred body-covers of hammered gold, every one having six hundred shekels of gold in it.

[bbe] And he made three hundred smaller body-covers of hammered gold, with three pounds of gold in every cover: and the king put them in the house of the Woods of Lebanon.

[bbe] Then the king made a great ivory seat, plated with the best gold.

[big5] 寶座有六層臺階，座的後背是圓的，兩旁有扶手，靠近扶手有兩個獅子站立。
[bbe] There were six steps going up to it, and the top of it was round at the back, there were arms on the two sides of the seat, and two lions by the side of the arms;
[dunv] 寶座<03678>有六層<08337>臺階<04609>，座<03678>的後<0310>背<07218>是圓<05696>的，{<07675>}{<8800>}兩旁<04725>有扶手<03027>，靠近<0681>扶手<03027>有兩個<08147>獅子<0738>站立<05975><8802>。
[big5] 六層臺階上有十二個獅子站立，每層有兩個：左邊一個，右邊一個；在列國中沒有這樣做的。
[bbe] And twelve lions were placed on the one side and on the other side on the six steps: there was nothing like it in any kingdom.

[big5] 所羅門王一切的飲器都是金子的。利巴嫩林宮裡的一切器皿都是精金的。所羅門年間，銀子算不了什麼。
[bbe] And all King Solomon's drinking-vessels were of gold, and all the vessels of the house of the Woods of Lebanon were of the best gold; not one was of silver, for no one gave a thought to silver in the days of King Solomon.

[big5] 因為王有他施船隻與希蘭的船隻一同航海，三年一次，裝載金銀、象牙、猿猴、孔雀回來。
[bbe] For the king had Tarshish-ships at sea with the ships of Hiram; once every three years the Tarshish-ships came with gold and silver and ivory and monkeys and peacocks.
[dunv] 因為王<04428>有他施<08659>船隻<0590>與希蘭<02438>的船隻<0590>一同航海<03220>，{<08659>}{<0590>}三<07969>年<08141>{<0935>}{<8799>}一次<0259>，裝載金<02091>銀<03701>、象牙<08143>、猿猴<06971>、孔雀<08500>回來<05375><8802>。
[big5] 所羅門王的財寶與智慧勝過天下的列王。
[bbe] And King Solomon was greater than all the kings of the earth in wealth and in wisdom.

[big5] 普天下的王都求見所羅門，要聽神賜給他智慧的話。
[bbe] And from all over the earth they came to see Solomon and to give ear to his wisdom, which God had put in his heart.

[bbe] And everyone took with him an offering, vessels of silver and vessels of gold, and robes, and coats of metal, and spices, and horses, and beasts of transport, regularly year by year.
[dunv] 他們各<0376>帶<0935><8688>貢物<04503>，就是金<02091>器<03627>、銀<03701>器<03627>、衣服<08008>、軍械<05402>、香料<01314>、騾<06505>馬<05483>，每年<08141><08141>有一定之例<01697>。
[big5] 所羅門聚集戰車馬兵，有戰車一千四百輛，馬兵一萬二千名，安置在屯車的城邑和耶路撒冷，就是王那裡。
[bbe] And Solomon got together war-carriages and horsemen; he had one thousand, four hundred carriages and twelve thousand horsemen, whom he kept, some in the carriage-towns and some with the king at Jerusalem.

[big5] 王在耶路撒冷使銀子多如石頭，香柏木多如高原的桑樹。
[bbe] And the king made silver as common as stones in Jerusalem and cedars like the sycamore-trees of the lowlands in number.

[big5] 所羅門的馬是從埃及帶來的，是王的商人一群一群按著定價買來的。
[bbe] And Solomon's horses came from Egypt and from Kue; the king's traders got them at a price from Kue.
[dunv] 所羅門<08010>的馬<05483>是從埃及<04714>帶來<04161>的，是王<04428>的商人<05503><8802>一群<04723>一群<04723>按著定價<04242>買來<03947><8799>的。
[big5] 從埃及買來的車，每輛價銀六百舍客勒，馬每匹一百五十舍客勒。赫人諸王和亞蘭諸王所買的車馬，也是按這價值經他們手買來的。
[bbe] A war-carriage might be got from Egypt for six hundred shekels of silver, and a horse for a hundred and fifty; they got them at the same rate for all the kings of the Hittites and the kings of Aram.
[dunv] 從<03318><8799>埃及<04714>買來<05927><8799>的車<04818>，每輛價銀<03701>六<08337>百<03967>舍客勒，馬<05483>每匹一百<03967>五十<02572>舍客勒。赫人<02850>諸王<04428>和亞蘭<0758>諸王<04428>所買的車馬，也是按這價值<03027>經他們手買來<03318><8686>的。
