[bbe] Now when Isaac was old and his eyes had become clouded so that he was not able to see, he sent for Esau, his first son, and said to him, My son: and he said, Here am I.

[bbe] And he said, See now, I am old, and my death may take place at any time:

[big5] 現在拿你的器械，就是箭囊和弓，往田野去為我打獵，
[bbe] So take your arrows and your bow and go out to the field and get meat for me;

[bbe] And make me food, good to the taste, such as is pleasing to me, and put it before me, so that I may have a meal and give you my blessing before death comes to me.

[bbe] Now Isaac's words to his son were said in Rebekah's hearing. Then Esau went out to get the meat.

[bbe] And Rebekah said to Jacob, her son, Your father said to your brother Esau in my hearing,

[bbe] Go and get some roe's meat and make me a good meal, so that I may be full, and give you my blessing before the Lord before my death.

[bbe] Now, my son, do what I say.

[big5] 你到羊群裡去，給我拿兩隻肥山羊羔來，我便照你父親所愛的給他做成美味。
[bbe] Go to the flock and get me two fat young goats; and I will make of them a meal to your father's taste:

[bbe] And you will take it to him, so that he may have a good meal and give you his blessing before his death.

[big5] 雅各對他母親利百加說：我哥哥以掃渾身是有毛的，我身上是光滑的；
[bbe] And Jacob said to Rebekah, his mother, But Esau my brother is covered with hair, while I am smooth:

[big5] 倘若我父親摸著我，必以我為欺哄人的，我就招咒詛，不得祝福。
[bbe] If by chance my father puts his hand on me, it will seem to him that I am tricking him, and he will put a curse on me in place of a blessing.
[dunv] 倘若我父親<01>摸<04959><8799>著我，必以<05869>我為欺哄<08591><8772>人的，我就招<0935><8689>咒詛<07045>，不得祝福<01293>。
[big5] 他母親對他說：我兒，你招的咒詛歸到我身上；你只管聽我的話，去把羊羔給我拿來。
[bbe] And his mother said, Let the curse be on me, my son: only do as I say, and go and get them for me.

[bbe] So he went and got them and took them to his mother: and she made a meal to his father's taste.

[bbe] And Rebekah took the fair robes of her oldest son, which were with her in the house, and put them on Jacob, her younger son:

[bbe] And she put the skins of the young goats on his hands and on the smooth part of his neck:

[bbe] And she gave into the hand of Jacob, her son, the meat and the bread which she had made ready.

[big5] 雅各到他父親那裡說：我父親！他說：我在這裡。我兒，你是誰？
[bbe] And he came to his father, and said, My father: and he said, Here am I: who are you, my son?

[big5] 雅各對他父親說：我是你的長子以掃；我已照你所吩咐我的行了。請起來坐著，吃我的野味，好給我祝福。
[bbe] And Jacob said, I am Esau, your oldest son; I have done as you said: come now, be seated and take of my meat, so that you may give me a blessing.

[big5] 以撒對他兒子說：我兒，你如何找得這麼快呢？他說：因為耶和華─你的神使我遇見好機會得著的。
[bbe] And Isaac said, How is it that you have got it so quickly, my son? And he said, Because the Lord your God made it come my way.
[dunv] 以撒<03327>對他兒子<01121>說<0559><8799>：我兒<01121>，你如何找<04672><8800>得這麼快<04116><8765>呢？他說<0559><8799>：因為耶和華<03068>─你的神<0430>使我遇見<07136><8689>好機會<06440>得著的。
[big5] 以撒對雅各說：我兒，你近前來，我摸摸你，知道你真是我的兒子以掃不是？
[bbe] And Isaac said, Come near so that I may put my hand on you, my son, and see if you are truly my son Esau or not.
[dunv] 以撒<03327>對雅各<03290>說<0559><8799>：我兒<01121>，你近前來<05066><8798>，我摸摸<04184><8799>你，知道你真是<02088>我的兒子<01121>以掃<06215>不是？
[big5] 雅各就挨近他父親以撒。以撒摸著他，說：聲音是雅各的聲音，手卻是以掃的手。
[bbe] And Jacob went near his father Isaac: and he put his hands on him; and he said, The voice is Jacob's voice, but the hands are the hands of Esau.
[dunv] 雅各<03290>就挨近<05066><8799>他父親<01>以撒<03327>。以撒摸<04959><8799>著他，說<0559><8799>：聲音<06963>是雅各<03290>的聲音<06963>，手<03027>卻是以掃<06215>的手<03027>。
[big5] 以撒就辨不出他來；因為他手上有毛，像他哥哥以掃的手一樣，就給他祝福；
[bbe] And he did not make out who he was, because his hands were covered with hair like his brother Esau's hands: so he gave him a blessing.
[dunv] 以撒就辨<05234><8689>不出他來；因為他手<03027>上有毛<08163>，像他哥哥<0251>以掃<06215>的手<03027>一樣，就給他祝福<01288><8762>；
[big5] 又說：你真是我兒子以掃嗎？他說：我是。
[bbe] And he said, Are you truly my son Esau? And he said, I am.
[dunv] 又說<0559><8799>：你真是我兒子<01121>以掃<06215>麼？他說<0559><8799>：我是。
[big5] 以撒說：你遞給我，我好吃我兒子的野味，給你祝福。雅各就遞給他，他便吃了，又拿酒給他，他也喝了。
[bbe] And he said, Put it before me and I will take of my son's meat, so that I may give you a blessing. And he put it before him and he took it; and he gave him wine, and he had a drink.
[dunv] 以撒說<0559><8799>：你遞<05066><8685>給我，我好吃<0398><8799>我兒子<01121>的野味<06718>，{<05315>}給你祝福<01288><8762>。雅各就遞<05066><8686>給他，他便吃<0398><8799>了，又拿<0935><8686>酒<03196>給他，他也喝<08354><8799>了。
[big5] 他父親以撒對他說：我兒，你上前來與我親嘴。
[bbe] And his father Isaac said to him, Come near now, my son, and give me a kiss.
[dunv] 他父親<01>以撒<03327>對他說<0559><8799>：我兒<01121>，你上前來<05066><8798>與我親嘴<05401><8798>。
[big5] 他就上前與父親親嘴。他父親一聞他衣服上的香氣，就給他祝福，說：我兒的香氣如同耶和華賜福之田地的香氣一樣。
[bbe] And he came near and gave him a kiss; and smelling the smell of his clothing, he gave him a blessing, and said, See, the smell of my son is like the smell of a field on which the blessing of the Lord has come:
[dunv] 他就上前<05066><8799>與父親親嘴<05401><8799>。他父親一聞<07306><8686>他衣服<0899>上的香氣<07381>，就給他祝福<01288><8762>，說<0559><8799>：{<07200>}{<8798>}我兒<01121>的香氣<07381>如同耶和華<03068>賜福<01288><8765>之田地<07704>的香氣<07381>一樣。
[big5] 願神賜你天上的甘露，地上的肥土，並許多五穀新酒。
[bbe] May God give you the dew of heaven, and the good things of the earth, and grain and wine in full measure:
[dunv] 願神<0430>賜<05414><8799>你天上<08064>的甘露<02919>，地<0776>上的肥土<04924>，並許多<07230>五穀<01715>新酒<08492>。
[big5] 願多民事奉你，多國跪拜你。願你作你弟兄的主；你母親的兒子向你跪拜。凡咒詛你的，願他受咒詛；為你祝福的，願他蒙福。
[bbe] Let peoples be your servants, and nations go down before you: be lord over your brothers, and let your mother's sons go down before you: a curse be on everyone by whom you are cursed, and a blessing on those who give you a blessing.
[dunv] 願多民<05971>事奉<05647><8799>你，多國<03816>跪拜<07812><8691>你。願你作<01933><8798>你弟兄<0251>的主<01376>；你母親<0517>的兒子<01121>向你跪拜<07812><8691>。凡咒詛<0779><8802>你的，願他受咒詛<0779><8803>；為你祝福<01288><8764>的，願他蒙福<01288><8803>。
[big5] 以撒為雅各祝福已畢，雅各從他父親那裡才出來，他哥哥以掃正打獵回來，
[bbe] And when Isaac had come to the end of blessing Jacob, and Jacob had not long gone away from Isaac his father, Esau came in from the field.

[bbe] And he made ready a meal, good to the taste, and took it to his father, and said to him, Let my father get up and take of his son's meat, so that you may give me a blessing.

[big5] 他父親以撒對他說：你是誰？他說：我是你的長子以掃。
[bbe] And Isaac his father said to him, Who are you? And he said, I am your oldest son, Esau.
[dunv] 他父親<01>以撒<03327>對他說<0559><8799>：你是誰？他說<0559><8799>：我是你的長子<01121><01060>以掃<06215>。
[big5] 以撒就大大地戰兢，說：你未來之先，是誰得了野味拿來給我呢？我已經吃了，為他祝福；他將來也必蒙福。
[bbe] And in great fear Isaac said, Who then is he who got meat and put it before me, and I took it all before you came, and gave him a blessing, and his it will be?
[dunv] 以撒<03327>就大大地<01419><03966><02731>戰兢<02729><8799>，說<0559><8799>：你未來<0935><8799>之先，是誰<0645>得<06679><8801>了野味<06718>拿來<0935><8686>給我呢？我已經吃<0398><8799>了，為他祝福<01288><8762>；他將來也必蒙福<01288><8803>。
[big5] 以掃聽了他父親的話，就放聲痛哭，說：我父啊，求你也為我祝福！
[bbe] And hearing the words of his father, Esau gave a great and bitter cry, and said to his father, Give a blessing to me, even to me, O my father!
[dunv] 以掃<06215>聽<08085><8800>了他父親<01>的話<01697>，就放聲<06817><8799><01419><03966>痛<04751>哭<06818>，說<0559><8799>{<01>}：我父<01>阿，求你也為我祝福<01288><8761>！
[big5] 以撒說：你兄弟已經用詭計來將你的福分奪去了。
[bbe] And he said, Your brother came with deceit, and took away your blessing.
[dunv] 以撒說<0559><8799>：你兄弟<0251>已經用詭計<04820>來<0935><8804>將你的福分<01293>奪去<03947><8799>了。
[big5] 以掃說：他名雅各，豈不是正對嗎？因為他欺騙了我兩次：他從前奪了我長子的名分，你看，他現在又奪了我的福分。以掃又說：你沒有留下為我可祝的福嗎？
[bbe] And he said, Is it because he is named Jacob that he has twice taken my place? for he took away my birthright, and now he has taken away my blessing. And he said, Have you not kept a blessing for me?
[dunv] 以掃說<0559><8799>：他名<07121><8804><08034>雅各<03290>，豈不是正對<03588>麼？因為他欺騙<06117><8799>了我{<02088>}兩次<06471>：他從前奪<03947><8804>了我長子的名分<01062>，你看，他現在又奪<03947><8804>了我的福分<01293>。以掃又說<0559><8799>：你沒有留下<0680><8804>為我可祝的福<01293>麼？
[big5] 以撒回答以掃說：我已立他為你的主，使他的弟兄都給他作僕人，並賜他五穀新酒可以養生。我兒，現在我還能為你做什麼呢？
[bbe] And Isaac answering said, But I have made him your master, and have given him all his brothers for servants; I have made him strong with grain and wine: what then am I to do for you, my son?
[dunv] 以撒<03327>回答<06030><8799>以掃<06215>說<0559><8799>：我已立<07760><8804>他為你的主<01376>，使他的弟兄<0251>都給<05414><8804>他作僕人<05650>，並賜<05564><8804>他五穀<01715>新酒<08492>可以養生。我兒<01121>，現在<0645>我還能為你做<06213><8799>甚麼呢？
[big5] 以掃對他父親說：父啊，你只有一樣可祝的福嗎？我父啊，求你也為我祝福！以掃就放聲而哭。
[bbe] And Esau said to his father, Is that the only blessing you have, my father? give a blessing to me, even me! And Esau was overcome with weeping.
[dunv] 以掃<06215>對他父親<01>說<0559><8799>：父<01>阿，你只有一<0259>樣可祝的福<01293>麼？我父<01>阿，求你也為我祝福<01288><8761>！以掃<06215>就放<05375><8799>聲<06963>而哭<01058><8799>。
[big5] 他父親以撒說：地上的肥土必為你所住；天上的甘露必為你所得。
[bbe] Then Isaac his father made answer and said to him, Far from the fertile places of the earth, and far from the dew of heaven on high will your living-place be:
[dunv] 他父親<01>以撒<03327>{<06030>}{<8799>}說<0559><8799>：地<0776>上的肥土<04924>必為你所住<04186>；天<08064>上<05921>的甘露<02919>必為你所得。
[big5] 你必倚靠刀劍度日，又必事奉你的兄弟；到你強盛的時候，必從你頸項上掙開他的軛。
[bbe] By your sword will you get your living and you will be your brother's servant; but when your power is increased his yoke will be broken from off your neck.
[dunv] 你必倚靠刀<02719>劍度日<02421><8799>，又必事奉<05647><8799>你的兄弟<0251>；到你強盛<07300><8686>的時候，必從你頸項<06677>上掙開<06561><8804>他的軛<05923>。
[big5] 以掃因他父親給雅各祝的福，就怨恨雅各，心裡說：為我父親居喪的日子近了，到那時候，我要殺我的兄弟雅各。
[bbe] So Esau was full of hate for Jacob because of his father's blessing; and he said in his heart, The days of weeping for my father are near; then I will put my brother Jacob to death.
[dunv] 以掃<06215>因<05921>{<0834>}他父親<01>給雅各祝<01288><8765>的福<01293>，就怨恨<07852><8799>雅各<03290>，{<06215>}心<03820>裡說<0559><8799>：為我父親<01>居喪<060>的日子<03117>近了<07126><8799>，到那時候，我要殺<02026><8799>我的兄弟<0251>雅各<03290>。
[big5] 有人把利百加大兒子以掃的話告訴利百加，他就打發人去，叫了他小兒子雅各來，對他說：你哥哥以掃想要殺你，報仇雪恨。
[bbe] Then Rebekah, hearing what Esau had said, sent for Jacob, her younger son, and said to him, It seems that your brother Esau is purposing to put you to death.
[dunv] 有人把利百加大<01419>兒子<01121>以掃<06215>的話<01697>告訴<05046><8714>利百加<07259>，他就打發<07971><8799>人去，叫<07121><8799>了他小<06996>兒子<01121>雅各<03290>來，對他說<0559><8799>：你哥哥<0251>以掃<06215>想要殺<02026><8800>你，報仇雪恨<05162><8693>。
[big5] 現在，我兒，你要聽我的話：起來，逃往哈蘭、我哥哥拉班那裡去，
[bbe] So now, my son, do what I say: go quickly to Haran, to my brother Laban;
[dunv] 現在，我兒<01121>，你要聽<08085><8798>我的話<06963>：起來<06965><8798>，逃<01272><8798>往哈蘭<02771>、我哥哥<0251>拉班<03837>那裡去，
[big5] 同他住些日子，直等你哥哥的怒氣消了。
[bbe] And be there with him for a little time, till your brother's wrath is turned away;
[dunv] 同他住<03427><8804>些<0259>日子<03117>，直等<0834>你哥哥<0251>的怒氣<02534>消<07725><8799>了。
[big5] 你哥哥向你消了怒氣，忘了你向他所做的事，我便打發人去把你從那裡帶回來。為什麼一日喪你們二人呢？
[bbe] Till the memory of what you have done to him is past and he is no longer angry: then I will send word for you to come back; are the two of you to be taken from me in one day?
[dunv] 你哥哥<0251>向你消<07725><8800>了怒氣<0639>，忘<07911><8804>了你向他所做<06213><8804>的事，我便打發<07971><8804>人去把你從那裡帶<03947><8804>回來。為甚麼<04100>一<0259>日<03117>喪<07921><8799>你們二<08147>人呢？
[big5] 利百加對以撒說：我因這赫人的女子連性命都厭煩了；倘若雅各也娶赫人的女子為妻，像這些一樣，我活著還有什麼益處呢？
[bbe] Then Rebekah said to Isaac, My life is a weariness to me because of the daughters of Heth: if Jacob takes a wife from among the daughters of Heth, such as these, the women of this land, of what use will my life be to me?
[dunv] 利百加<07259>對以撒<03327>說<0559><8799>：我因<06440>這赫人<02845>的女子<01323>連性命<02416>都厭煩<06973><8804>了；倘若雅各<03290>也娶<03947><8802>赫人<02845>的女子<01323>為妻<0802>，像這些{<01323>}{<0776>}一樣，我活著<02416>還有甚麼益處<04100>呢？
