[big5] 在亞伯拉罕的日子，那地有一次饑荒；這時又有饑荒，以撒就往基拉耳去，到非利士人的王亞比米勒那裡。
[bbe] Then came a time of great need in the land, like that which had been before in the days of Abraham. And Isaac went to Abimelech, king of the Philistines, at Gerar.
[dunv] 在亞伯拉罕<085>的日子<03117>，那地<0776>{<0905>}有一次<07223>饑荒<07458>；這時又有饑荒<07458>，以撒<03327>就往基拉耳<01642>去<03212><8799>，到非利士人<06430>的王<04428>亞比米勒<040>那裡。
[big5] 耶和華向以撒顯現，說：你不要下埃及去，要住在我所指示你的地。
[bbe] And the Lord came to him in a vision and said, Do not go down to Egypt; keep in the land of which I will give you knowledge:

[big5] 你寄居在這地，我必與你同在，賜福給你，因為我要將這些地都賜給你和你的後裔。我必堅定我向你父亞伯拉罕所起的誓。
[bbe] Keep in this land, and I will be with you and give you my blessing; for to you and to your seed will I give all these lands, giving effect to the oath which I made to your father Abraham;
[dunv] 你寄居<01481><8798>在這地<0776>，我必與你同在，賜福<01288><8762>給你，因為我要將這些<0411>地<0776>都賜給<05414><8799>你和你的後裔<02233>。我必堅定<06965><8689>我向你父<01>亞伯拉罕<085>所起<07650><8738>的誓<07621>。
[big5] 我要加增你的後裔，像天上的星那樣多，又要將這些地都賜給你的後裔。並且地上萬國必因你的後裔得福─
[bbe] I will make your seed like the stars of heaven in number, and will give them all these lands, and your seed will be a blessing to all the nations of the earth;

[big5] 都因亞伯拉罕聽從我的話，遵守我的吩咐和我的命令、律例、法度。
[bbe] Because Abraham gave ear to my voice and kept my words, my rules, my orders, and my laws.
[dunv] 都因<06118>亞伯拉罕<085>聽從<08085><8804>我的話<06963>，遵守<08104><8799>我的吩咐<04931>和我的命令<04687>、律例<02708>、法度<08451>。
[big5] 以撒就住在基拉耳。
[bbe] So Isaac went on living in Gerar;

[big5] 那地方的人問到他的妻子，他便說：那是我的妹子。原來他怕說：是我的妻子；他心裡想：恐怕這地方的人為利百加的緣故殺我，因為他容貌俊美。
[bbe] And when he was questioned by the men of the place about his wife, he said, She is my sister; fearing to say, She is my wife; for, he said, the men of the place may put me to death on account of Rebekah; because she is very beautiful.
[dunv] 那地方<04725>的人<0582>問<07592><8799>到他的妻子<0802>，他便說<0559><8799>：那是我的妹子<0269>。原來他怕<03372><8804>說<0559><8800>：是我的妻子<0802>；他心裡想：恐怕這地方<04725>的人<0582>為利百加<07259>的緣故殺<02026><8799>我，因為他容貌<04758>俊美<02896>。
[big5] 他在那裡住了許久。有一天，非利士人的王亞比米勒從窗戶裡往外觀看，見以撒和他的妻子利百加戲玩。
[bbe] And when he had been there for some time, Abimelech, king of the Philistines, looking through a window, saw Isaac playing with Rebekah his wife.

[bbe] And he said to Isaac, It is clear that she is your wife: why then did you say, She is my sister? And Isaac said, For fear that I might be put to death because of her.
[dunv] 亞比米勒<040>召<07121><8799>了以撒<03327>來，對他說<0559><8799>：他實在<0389>是你的妻子<0802>，你怎麼說<0559><8804>他是你的妹子<0269>？以撒<03327>說<0559><8799>：我心裡想<0559><8804>，恐怕我因他而死<04191><8799>。
[big5] 亞比米勒說：你向我們做的是什麼事呢？民中險些有人和你的妻同寢，把我們陷在罪裡。
[bbe] Then Abimelech said, What have you done to us? one of the people might well have had connection with your wife, and the sin would have been ours.
[dunv] 亞比米勒<040>說<0559><8799>：你向我們做<06213><8804>的是甚麼事呢？民<05971>中險些<04592>有人<0259>和你的妻<0802>同寢<07901><8804>，把我們陷<0935><8689>在罪<0817>裡。
[big5] 於是亞比米勒曉諭眾民說：凡沾著這個人，或是他妻子的，定要把他治死。
[bbe] And Abimelech gave orders to his people that anyone touching Isaac or his wife was to be put to death.
[dunv] 於是亞比米勒<040>曉諭<06680><8762>眾民<05971>說<0559><8800>：凡沾<05060><8802>著這個人<0376>，或是他妻子<0802>的，定要<04191><8800>把他治死<04191><8714>。
[big5] 以撒在那地耕種，那一年有百倍的收成。耶和華賜福給他，
[bbe] Now Isaac, planting seed in that land, got in the same year fruit a hundred times as much, for the blessing of the Lord was on him.
[dunv] 以撒<03327>在那地<0776>耕種<02232><8799>，那一年<08141>有百<03967><08180>倍的收成<04672><8799>。耶和華<03068>賜福<01288><8762>給他，
[big5] 他就昌大，日增月盛，成了大富戶。
[bbe] And his wealth became very great, increasing more and more;

[big5] 他有羊群牛群，又有許多僕人，非利士人就嫉妒他。
[bbe] For he had great wealth of flocks and herds and great numbers of servants; so that the Philistines were full of envy.
[dunv] 他有<04735>羊群<06629>牛群<01241>，又有<04735>許多<07227>僕人<05657>，非利士人<06430>就嫉妒<07065><8762>他。
[big5] 當他父親亞伯拉罕在世的日子，他父親的僕人所挖的井，非利士人全都塞住，填滿了土。
[bbe] Now all the water-holes, which his father's servants had made in the days of Abraham, had been stopped up with earth by the Philistines.
[dunv] 當他父親<01>亞伯拉罕<085>在世的日子<03117>，他父親<01>的僕人<05650>所挖<02658><8804>的井<0875>，非利士人<06430>全都塞住<05640><8765>，填滿<04390><8762>了土<06083>。
[big5] 亞比米勒對以撒說：你離開我們去吧。因為你比我們強盛得多。
[bbe] And Abimelech said to Isaac, Go away from us, for you are stronger than we are.
[dunv] 亞比米勒<040>對以撒<03327>說<0559><8799>：你離開我們去<03212><8798>罷。因為你比我們強盛<06105><8804>得多<03966>。
[big5] 以撒就離開那裡，在基拉耳谷支搭帳棚，住在那裡。
[bbe] So Isaac went away from there, and put up his tents in the valley of Gerar, making his living-place there.
[dunv] 以撒<03327>就離開<03212><8799>那裡，在基拉耳<01642>谷<05158>支搭帳棚<02583><8799>，住<03427><8799>在那裡<08033>。
[big5] 當他父親亞伯拉罕在世之日所挖的水井因非利士人在亞伯拉罕死後塞住了，以撒就重新挖出來，仍照他父親所叫的叫那些井的名字。
[bbe] And he made again the water-holes which had been made in the days of Abraham his father, and which had been stopped up by the Philistines; and he gave them the names which his father had given them.

[big5] 以撒的僕人在谷中挖井，便得了一口活水井。
[bbe] Now Isaac's servants made holes in the valley, and came to a spring of flowing water.
[dunv] 以撒<03327>的僕人<05650>在谷<05158>中挖<02658><8799>井，便得<04672><8799>了一口活<02416>水<04325>井<0875>。
[big5] 基拉耳的牧人與以撒的牧人爭競，說：這水是我們的。以撒就給那井起名叫埃色【就是相爭的意思】，因為他們和他相爭。
[bbe] But the herdmen of Gerar had a fight with Isaac's herdmen, for they said, The spring is ours: so he gave the spring the name of Esek, because there was a fight about it.
[dunv] 基拉耳<01642>的牧人<07462><8802>與以撒<03327>的牧人<07462><8802>爭競<07378><8799>，說<0559><8800>：這水<04325>是我們的。以撒就給那井<0875>起名<08034>叫<07121><8799>埃色<06230>【就是相爭的意思】，因為他們和他相爭<06229><8694>。
[big5] 以撒的僕人又挖了一口井，他們又為這井爭競，因此以撒給這井起名叫西提拿【就是為敵的意思】。
[bbe] Then they made another water-hole, and there was a fight about that, so he gave it the name of Sitnah.
[dunv] 以撒的僕人又挖<02658><8799>了一<0312>口井<0875>，他們又為這井爭競<07378><8799>，因此以撒給這井起名<08034>叫<07121><8799>西提拿<07856>【就是為敵的意思】。
[big5] 以撒離開那裡，又挖了一口井，他們不為這井爭競了，他就給那井起名叫利河伯【就是寬闊的意思】。他說：耶和華現在給我們寬闊之地，我們必在這地昌盛。
[bbe] Then he went away from there, and made another water-hole, about which there was no fighting: so he gave it the name of Rehoboth, for he said, Now the Lord has made room for us, and we will have fruit in this land.
[dunv] 以撒離開<06275><8686>那裡，又挖<02658><8799>了一<0312>口井<0875>，他們不為這井爭競<07378><8804>了，他就給那井起名<08034>叫<07121><8799>利河伯<07344>【就是寬闊的意思】。他說<0559><8799>：耶和華<03068>現在<06258>給我們寬闊之地<07337><8689>，我們必在這地<0776>昌盛<06509><8804>。

[bbe] And from there he went on to Beer-sheba.
[dunv] 以撒從那裡上<05927><8799>別是巴<0884>去。
[big5] 當夜耶和華向他顯現，說：我是你父親亞伯拉罕的神，不要懼怕！因為我與你同在，要賜福給你，並要為我僕人亞伯拉罕的緣故，使你的後裔繁多。
[bbe] That night the Lord came to him in a vision, and said, I am the God of your father Abraham: have no fear for I am with you, blessing you, and your seed will be increased because of my servant Abraham.
[dunv] 當夜<03915>耶和華<03068>向他顯現<07200><8735>，說<0559><8799>：我是你父親<01>亞伯拉罕<085>的神<0430>，不要懼怕<03372><8799>！因為我與你同在<0854>，要賜福<01288><8765>給你，並要為我僕人<05650>亞伯拉罕<085>的緣故，使你的後裔<02233>繁多<07235><8689>。
[big5] 以撒就在那裡築了一座壇，求告耶和華的名，並且支搭帳棚；他的僕人便在那裡挖了一口井。
[bbe] Then he made an altar there, and gave worship to the name of the Lord, and he put up his tents there, and there his servants made a water-hole.
[dunv] 以撒<03327>就在那裡築<01129><8799>了一座壇<04196>，求告<07121><8799>耶和華<03068>的名<08034>，並且支搭<05186><8799>帳棚<0168>；他的僕人<05650>便在那裡挖<03738><8799>了一口井<0875>。
[big5] 亞比米勒，同他的朋友亞戶撒和他的軍長非各，從基拉耳來見以撒。
[bbe] And Abimelech had come to him from Gerar, with Ahuzzath his friend and Phicol, the captain of his army.
[dunv] 亞比米勒<040>，同他的朋友<04828>亞戶撒<0276>和他的軍<06635>長<08269>非各<06369>，從基拉耳<01642>來<01980><8804>見以撒。
[big5] 以撒對他們說：你們既然恨我，打發我走了，為什麼到我這裡來呢？
[bbe] And Isaac said to them, Why have you come to me, seeing that in your hate for me you sent me away from you?
[dunv] 以撒<03327>對他們說<0559><8799>：你們既然恨<08130><8804>我，打發<07971><8762>我走了，為甚麼<04069>到<0935><8804>我這裡來呢？
[big5] 他們說：我們明明的看見耶和華與你同在，便說，不如我們兩下彼此起誓，彼此立約，
[bbe] And they said, We saw clearly that the Lord was with you: so we said, Let there be an oath between us and you, and let us make an agreement with you;
[dunv] 他們說<0559><8799>：我們明明的<07200><8800>看見<07200><8804>耶和華<03068>與你同在，便說<0559><8799>，不如我們兩下彼此<0996>起誓<0423>，彼此<0996>立<03772><8799>約<01285>，
[big5] 使你不害我們，正如我們未曾害你，一味的厚待你，並且打發你平平安安地走。你是蒙耶和華賜福的了。
[bbe] That you will do us no damage, even as we put no hand on you, and did you nothing but good, and sent you away in peace: and now the blessing of the Lord is on you.
[dunv] 使你不害<06213><8799><07451>我們，正如我們未曾害<05060><8804>你，一味<07535>的厚待<06213><8804><02896>你，並且打發<07971><8762>你平平安安<07965>的走。{<06258>}你是蒙耶和華<03068>賜福<01288><8803>的了。
[big5] 以撒就為他們設擺筵席，他們便吃了喝了。
[bbe] Then he made a feast for them, and they all had food and drink.
[dunv] 以撒就為他們設擺<06213><8799>筵席<04960>，他們便吃<0398><8799>了喝<08354><8799>了。
[big5] 他們清早起來彼此起誓。以撒打發他們走，他們就平平安安地離開他走了。
[bbe] And early in the morning they took an oath one to the other: then Isaac sent them away and they went on their way in peace.

[bbe] And that day Isaac's servants came to him and gave him word of the water-hole which they had made, and said to him, We have come to water.

[big5] 他就給那井起名叫示巴；因此那城叫做別是巴，直到今日。
[bbe] And he gave it the name of Shibah: so the name of that town is Beer-sheba to this day.
[dunv] 他就給那井起名<08034>叫<07121><8799>示巴<07656>；因此那城<05892>叫做別是巴<0884>，直到今日<03117>。
[big5] 以掃四十歲的時候娶了赫人比利的女兒猶滴，與赫人以倫的女兒巴實抹為妻。
[bbe] And when Esau was forty years old, he took as his wives Judith, the daughter of Beeri the Hittite, and Basemath, the daughter of Elon the Hittite:
[dunv] 以掃<06215>四十<0705>歲<08141><01121>的時候娶<03947><8799>了赫人<02850>比利<0882>的女兒<01323>猶滴<03067>，與赫人<02850>以倫<0356>的女兒<01323>巴實抹<01315>為妻<0802>。
[big5] 他們常使以撒和利百加心裡愁煩。
[bbe] And Isaac and Rebekah had grief of mind because of them.
