[bbe] Now Abraham was old and far on in years: and the Lord had given him everything in full measure.

[bbe] And Abraham said to his chief servant, the manager of all his property, Come now, put your hand under my leg:

[big5] 我要叫你指著耶和華─天地的主起誓，不要為我兒子娶這迦南地中的女子為妻。
[bbe] And take an oath by the Lord, the God of heaven and the God of the earth, that you will not get a wife for my son Isaac from the daughters of the Canaanites among whom I am living;
[dunv] 我要叫你指著耶和華<03068>─天<08064>地<0776>的主<0430>起誓<07650><8686>，不要為我兒子<01121>娶<03947><8799>這迦南地<03669>中<07130>{<03427>}{<8802>}的女子<01323>為妻<0802>。
[big5] 你要往我本地本族去，為我的兒子以撒娶一個妻子。
[bbe] But that you will go into my country and to my relations and get a wife there for my son Isaac.
[dunv] 你要往我本地<0776>本族<04138>去<03212><8799>，為我的兒子<01121>以撒<03327>娶<03947><8804>一個妻子<0802>。
[big5] 僕人對他說：倘若女子不肯跟我到這地方來，我必須將你的兒子帶回你原出之地嗎？
[bbe] And the servant said, If by chance the woman will not come with me into this land, am I to take your son back again to the land from which you came?
[dunv] 僕人<05650>對他說<0559><8799>：倘若女子<0802>不肯<014><8799>跟<03212><8800>{<0310>}我到這地方<0776>來，我必須將你的兒子<01121>帶回<07725><8687><07725><8686>你原出<03318><8804>之地<0776>麼？
[big5] 亞伯拉罕對他說：你要謹慎，不要帶我的兒子回那裡去。
[bbe] And Abraham said, Take care that you do not let my son go back to that land.
[dunv] 亞伯拉罕<085>對他說<0559><8799>：你要謹慎<08104><8734>，不要<06435>帶<07725><00>我的兒子<01121>回<07725><8686>那裡去。
[big5] 耶和華─天上的主曾帶領我離開父家和本族的地，對我說話，向我起誓說：我要將這地賜給你的後裔。他必差遣使者在你面前，你就可以從那裡為我兒子娶一個妻子。
[bbe] The Lord God of heaven, who took me from my father's house and from the land of my birth, and made an oath to me, saying, To your seed I will give this land: he will send his angel before you and give you a wife for my son in that land.
[dunv] 耶和華<03068>─天上<08064>的主<0430>曾帶領<03947><8804>我離開父<01>家<01004>和本族<04138>的地<0776>，對我說話<01696><8765>，向我起誓<07650><8738>說<0559><8800>：我要將這地<0776>賜給<05414><8799>你的後裔<02233>。他必差遣<07971><8799>使者<04397>在你面前<06440>，你就可以從那裡為我兒子<01121>娶<03947><8804>一個妻子<0802>。
[big5] 倘若女子不肯跟你來，我使你起的誓就與你無干了，只是不可帶我的兒子回那裡去。
[bbe] And if the woman will not come with you, then you are free from this oath; only do not take my son back there.
[dunv] 倘若女子<0802>不肯<014><8799>跟<03212><8800>{<0310>}你來，我使你起的誓<07621>就與你無干<05352><8738>了，只是不可帶<07725><00>我的兒子<01121>回<07725><8686>那裡去。
[big5] 僕人就把手放在他主人亞伯拉罕的大腿底下，為這事向他起誓。
[bbe] And the servant put his hand under Abraham's leg, and gave him his oath about this thing.

[big5] 那僕人從他主人的駱駝裡取了十匹駱駝，並帶些他主人各樣的財物，起身往米所波大米去，到了拿鶴的城。
[bbe] And the servant took ten of his master's camels, and all sorts of good things of his master's, and went to Mesopotamia, to the town of Nahor.

[big5] 天將晚，眾女子出來打水的時候，他便叫駱駝跪在城外的水井那裡。
[bbe] And he made the camels take their rest outside the town by the water-spring in the evening, at the time when the women came to get water.
[dunv] 天將晚<06256><06153>，眾女子出來<03318><8800>打<07579><8802>水的時候<06256>，他便叫<01288><00>駱駝<01581>跪<01288><8686>在<0413>城<05892>外<02351>的水<04325>井<0875>那裡。
[big5] 他說：耶和華─我主人亞伯拉罕的神啊，求你施恩給我主人亞伯拉罕，使我今日遇見好機會。
[bbe] And he said, O Lord, the God of my master Abraham, let me do well in what I have undertaken this day, and give your mercy to my master Abraham.
[dunv] 他說<0559><8799>：耶和華<03068>─我主人<0113>亞伯拉罕<085>的神<0430>阿，求你施<06213><8798>恩<02617>給<05973>我主人<0113>亞伯拉罕<085>，{<06440>}使我今日<03117>遇見<07136><8685>好機會。
[big5] 我現今站在井旁，城內居民的女子們正出來打水。
[bbe] See, I am waiting here by the water-spring; and the daughters of the town are coming out to get water:
[dunv] 我現今站<05324><8737>在<04325>井<05869>旁，城<05892>內居民<0582>的女子們<01323>正出來<03318><8802>打<07579><8800>水<04325>。
[big5] 我向那一個女子說：請你拿下水瓶來，給我水喝，他若說：請喝！我也給你的駱駝喝，願那女子就作你所預定給你僕人以撒的妻。這樣，我便知道你施恩給我主人了。
[bbe] Now, may the girl to whom I say, Let down your vessel and give me a drink, and who says in answer, Here is a drink for you and let me give water to your camels: may she be the one marked out by you for your servant Isaac: so may I be certain that you have been good to my master Abraham.
[dunv] 我向那一個女子<05291>說<0559><8799>：請你拿下<05186><8685>水瓶<03537>來，給我水喝<08354><8799>，他若說<0559><8804>：請喝<08354><8798>！我也給<08248><00>你的駱駝<01581>喝<08248><8686>，願那女子就作你所預定<03198><8689>給你僕人<05650>以撒<03327>的妻。這樣，我便知道<03045><8799>你施<06213><8804>恩<02617>給我主人<0113>了。
[big5] 話還沒有說完，不料，利百加肩頭上扛著水瓶出來。利百加是彼土利所生的；彼土利是亞伯拉罕兄弟拿鶴妻子密迦的兒子。
[bbe] And even before his words were ended, Rebekah, the daughter of Bethuel, the son of Milcah, who was the wife of Nahor, Abraham's brother, came out with her water-vessel on her arm.
[dunv] 話還沒有說<01696><8763>完<03615><8765>，不料，利百加<07259>肩頭<07926>上扛著水瓶<03537>出來<03318><8802>。利百加{<0834>}是彼土利<01328>所生<03205><8795>的；彼土利是亞伯拉罕<085>兄弟<0251>拿鶴<05152>妻子<0802>密迦<04435>的兒子<01121>。
[big5] 那女子容貌極其俊美，還是處女，也未曾有人親近他。他下到井旁，打滿了瓶，又上來。
[bbe] She was a very beautiful girl, a virgin, who had never been touched by a man: and she went down to the spring to get water in her vessel.
[dunv] 那女子<05291>容貌<04758>極其<03966>俊美<02896>，還是處女<01330>，也未曾有人<0376>親近<03045><8804>他。他下到<03381><8799>井<05869>旁，打滿<04390><8762>了瓶<03537>，又上來<05927><8799>。
[big5] 僕人跑上前去迎著他，說：求你將瓶裡的水給我一點喝。
[bbe] And the servant came running to her and said, Give me a little water from your vessel.
[dunv] 僕人<05650>跑<07323><8799>上前去迎<07125><8800>著他，說<0559><8799>：求你將瓶<03537>裡的水<04325>給我一點<04592>喝<01572><8685>。
[big5] 女子說：我主請喝！就急忙拿下瓶來，托在手上給他喝。
[bbe] And she said, Take a drink, my lord: and quickly letting down her vessel onto her hand, she gave him a drink.
[dunv] 女子說<0559><8799>：我主<0113>請喝<08354><8798>！就急忙<04116><8762>拿下<03381><8686>瓶<03537>來，托在手<03027>上給他喝<08248><8686>。
[big5] 女子給他喝了，就說：我再為你的駱駝打水，叫駱駝也喝足。
[bbe] And having done so, she said, I will get water for your camels till they have had enough.
[dunv] 女子給他喝<08248><8687>{<03615>}{<8762>}了，就說<0559><8799>：我再為你的駱駝<01581>打<07579><8799>水，叫駱駝也喝<08354><8800>足<03615><8765>。
[big5] 他就急忙把瓶裡的水倒在槽裡，又跑到井旁打水，就為所有的駱駝打上水來。
[bbe] And after putting the water from her vessel into the animals' drinking-place, she went quickly back to the spring and got water for all the camels.
[dunv] 他就急忙<04116><8762>把瓶<03537>裡的水倒<06168><8762>在槽<08268>裡，又跑到<07323><8799>井<0875>旁打<07579><8800>水，就為所有的駱駝<01581>打<07579><8799>上水來。
[big5] 那人定睛看他，一句話也不說，要曉得耶和華賜他通達的道路沒有。
[bbe] And the man, looking at her, said nothing, waiting to see if the Lord had given his journey a good outcome.
[dunv] 那人<0376>定睛看<07583><8693>他，一句話也不說<02790><8688>，要曉得<03045><8800>耶和華<03068>賜<06743><00>他通達<06743><8689>的道路<01870>沒有<0518>。
[big5] 駱駝喝足了，那人就拿一個金環，重半舍客勒，兩個金鐲，重十舍客勒，給了那女子，
[bbe] And when the camels had had enough, the man took a gold nose-ring, half a shekel in weight, and two ornaments for her arms of ten shekels weight of gold;
[dunv] 駱駝<01581>喝<08354><8800>足<03615><8765>了，那人<0376>就拿<03947><8799>一個金<02091>環<05141>，重<04948>半舍客勒<01235>，兩<08147>個金<02091>鐲<06781>，重<04948>十<06235>舍客勒，給了那女子{<03027>}，
[big5] 說：請告訴我，你是誰的女兒？你父親家裡有我們住宿的地方沒有？
[bbe] And said to her, Whose daughter are you? is there room in your father's house for us?
[dunv] 說<0559><8799>：請告訴<05046><8685>我，你<0859>是誰的<04310>女兒<01323>？你父親<01>家<01004>裡有<03426>我們住宿<03885><8800>的地方<04725>沒有？
[big5] 女子說：我是密迦與拿鶴之子彼土利的女兒；
[bbe] And she said to him, I am the daughter of Bethuel, the son of Milcah, Nahor's wife.
[dunv] 女子說<0559><8799>：我是密迦<04435>{<03205>}{<8804>}與拿鶴<05152>之子<01121>彼土利<01328>的女兒<01323>；
[big5] 又說：我們家裡足有糧草，也有住宿的地方。
[bbe] And she said, We have a great store of dry grass and cattle-food, and there is room for you.
[dunv] 又說<0559><8799>：我們家裡足<07227>有<01571>糧草<08401><04554>，也<01571>有住宿<03885><8800>的地方<04725>。
[big5] 那人就低頭向耶和華下拜，
[bbe] And with bent head the man gave worship to the Lord;
[dunv] 那人<0376>就低頭<06915><8799>向耶和華<03068>下拜<07812><8691>，
[big5] 說：耶和華─我主人亞伯拉罕的神是應當稱頌的，因他不斷地以慈愛誠實待我主人。至於我，耶和華在路上引領我，直走到我主人的兄弟家裡。
[bbe] And said, Praise be to the Lord, the God of my master Abraham, who has given a sign that he is good and true to my master, by guiding me straight to the house of my master's family.
[dunv] 說<0559><8799>：耶和華<03068>─我主人<0113>亞伯拉罕<085>的神<0430>是應當稱頌<01288><8803>的，因他不斷地以慈愛<02617>誠實<0571>待<05800><8804><05973>我主人<0113>。至於我，耶和華<03068>在路<01870>上引領<05148><8804>我，直走到我主人<0113>的兄弟<0251>家<01004>裡。
[big5] 女子跑回去，照著這些話告訴他母親和他家裡的人。
[bbe] So the girl went running and took the news of these things to her mother's house
[dunv] 女子<05291>跑<07323><8799>回去，照著這些話<01697>告訴<05046><8686>他母親<0517>和他家<01004>裡的人。
[big5] 利百加有一個哥哥，名叫拉班，看見金環，又看見金鐲在他妹子的手上，並聽見他妹子利百加的話，說那人對我如此如此說。拉班就跑出來往井旁去，到那人跟前，見他仍站在駱駝旁邊的井旁那裡，
[bbe] Now Rebekah had a brother named Laban, and he came out quickly to the man at the water-spring.
[dunv] 利百加<07259>有一個哥哥<0251>，名<08034>叫拉班<03837>，看見<07200><8800>金環<05141>，又看見金鐲<06781>在他妹子<0269>的手<03027>上，並聽見<08085><8800>他妹子<0269>利百加<07259>的話<01697>，說<0559><8800>那人<0376>對我如此如此<03541>說<01696><8765>。拉班<03837>就跑<07323><8799>出來<02351>往井<05869>旁去{<0376>}，到<0935><8799>那人<0376>跟前，見他仍站<05975><8802>在駱駝<01581>旁邊的井<05869>旁<05921>那裡，

[bbe] And when he saw the nose-ring and the ornaments on his sister's hands, and when she gave him word of what the man had said to her, then he went out to the man who was waiting with the camels by the water-spring.

[big5] 便對他說：你這蒙耶和華賜福的，請進來，為什麼站在外邊？我已經收拾了房屋，也為駱駝預備了地方。
[bbe] And he said to him, Come in, you on whom is the blessing of the Lord; why are you waiting outside? for I have made the house ready for you, and a place for the camels.
[dunv] 便對他說<0559><8799>：你這蒙耶和華<03068>賜福<01288><8803>的，請進來<0935><8798>，為甚麼站<05975><8799>在外邊<02351>？我已經收拾<06437><8765>了房屋<01004>，也為駱駝<01581>預備了地方<04725>。
[big5] 那人就進了拉班的家。拉班卸了駱駝，用草料餵上，拿水給那人和跟隨的人洗腳，
[bbe] Then the man came into the house, and Laban took their cords off the camels and gave them dry grass and food, and he gave to him and the men who were with him water for washing their feet.
[dunv] 那人<0376>就進<0935><8799>了拉班的家<01004>。拉班卸<06605><8762>了駱駝<01581>，用<05414><8799>草料<08401>餵<04554>上{<01581>}，拿水<04325>給那人<0582>{<07272>}和跟隨的人洗<07364><8800>腳<07272>，
[big5] 把飯擺在他面前，叫他吃，他卻說：我不吃，等我說明白我的事情再吃。拉班說：請說。
[bbe] And meat was put before him, but he said, I will not take food till I have made my business clear to you. And they said, Do so.
[dunv] 把飯擺<07760><8714><8675><03455><8799>在他面前<06440>，叫他吃<0398><8800>，他卻說<0559><8799>：我不吃<0398><8799>，等我說<01696><8765>明白我的事情<01697>再吃。拉班說<0559><8799>：請說<01696><8761>。
[big5] 他說：我是亞伯拉罕的僕人。
[bbe] And he said, I am Abraham's servant.
[dunv] 他說<0559><8799>：我是亞伯拉罕<085>的僕人<05650>。
[big5] 耶和華大大地賜福給我主人，使他昌大，又賜給他羊群、牛群、金銀、僕婢、駱駝，和驢。
[bbe] The Lord has given my master every blessing, and he has become great: he has given him flocks and herds and silver and gold, and men-servants and women-servants and camels and asses.
[dunv] 耶和華<03068>大大<03966>地賜福<01288><8765>給我主人<0113>，使他昌大<01431><8799>，又賜給<05414><8799>他羊群<06629>、牛群<01241>、金<02091>銀<03701>、僕<05650>婢<08198>、駱駝<01581>，和驢<02543>。
[big5] 我主人的妻子撒拉年老的時候給我主人生了一個兒子；我主人也將一切所有的都給了這個兒子。
[bbe] And when Sarah, my master's wife, was old, she gave birth to a son, to whom he has given all he has.
[dunv] 我主人<0113>的妻子<0802>撒拉<08283>年老<02209>的時候<0310>給我主人<0113>生<03205><8799>了一個兒子<01121>；我主人也將一切所有的都給<05414><8799>了這個兒子。
[big5] 我主人叫我起誓說：你不要為我兒子娶迦南地的女子為妻。
[bbe] And my master made me take an oath, saying, Do not get a wife for my son from the daughters of the Canaanites among whom I am living;
[dunv] 我主人<0113>叫我起誓<07650><8686>說<0559><8800>：你不要為我兒子<01121>娶<03947><8799>迦南<03669>地<0776>{<03427>}{<8802>}的女子<01323>為妻<0802>。
[big5] 你要往我父家、我本族那裡去，為我的兒子娶一個妻子。
[bbe] But go to my father's house and to my relations for a wife for my son.
[dunv] {<0518>}你要往我父<01>家<01004>、我本族<04940>那裡去<03212><8799>，為我的兒子<01121>娶<03947><8804>一個妻子<0802>。
[big5] 我對我主人說：恐怕女子不肯跟我來。
[bbe] And I said to my master, What if the woman will not come with me?
[dunv] 我對我主人<0113>說<0559><8799>：恐怕女子<0802>不肯跟<03212><8799><0310>我來。
[big5] 他就說：我所事奉的耶和華必要差遣他的使者與你同去，叫你的道路通達，你就得以在我父家、我本族那裡，給我的兒子娶一個妻子。
[bbe] And he said, The Lord, whom I have ever kept before me, will send his angel with you, who will make it possible for you to get a wife for my son from my relations and my father's house;
[dunv] 他就說<0559><8799>：{<06440>}我所事奉<01980><8694>的耶和華<03068>必要差遣<07971><8799>他的使者<04397>與你同去，叫你的道路<01870>通達<06743><8689>，你就得以在我父<01>家<01004>、我本族<04940>那裡，給我的兒子<01121>娶<03947><8804>一個妻子<0802>。
[big5] 只要你到了我本族那裡，我使你起的誓就與你無干。他們若不把女子交給你，我使你起的誓也與你無干。
[bbe] And you will be free from your oath to me when you come to my people; and if they will not give her to you, you will be free from your oath.
[dunv] 只要你到<0935><8799>了我本族<04940>那裡，我使你起的誓<0423>就與你無干<05352><8735>。他們若不把女子交給<05414><8799>你，我使你起的誓<0423>也與你無干<05355>。
[big5] 我今日到了井旁，便說：耶和華─我主人亞伯拉罕的神啊，願你叫我所行的道路通達。
[bbe] And I came today to the water-spring, and I said, O Lord, the God of my master Abraham, if it is your purpose to give a good outcome to my journey,
[dunv] 我今日<03117>到<0935><8799>了井<05869>旁，便說<0559><8799>：耶和華<03068>─我主人<0113>亞伯拉罕<085>的神<0430>阿，願你叫<03426>我所行<01980><8802>的道路<01870>通達<06743><8688>。
[big5] 我如今站在井旁，對哪一個出來打水的女子說：請你把你瓶裡的水給我一點喝；
[bbe] Let it come about that, while I am waiting here by the water-spring, if a girl comes to get water and I say to her, Give me a little water from your vessel, and she says,
[dunv] 我如今站<05324><8737>在井<05869>{<04325>}旁，對那一個出來<03318><8802>打<07579><8800>水的女子<05959>說<0559><8804>：請你把你瓶<03537>裡的水<04325>給<08248><00>我一點<04592>喝<08248><8685>；
[big5] 他若說：你只管喝，我也為你的駱駝打水；願那女子就作耶和華給我主人兒子所預定的妻。
[bbe] Take a drink, and I will get water for your camels; let her be the woman marked out by the Lord for my master's son.
[dunv] 他若說<0559><8804>：你只管喝<08354><8798>，我也為你的駱駝<01581>打<07579><8799>水；願那女子<0802>就作耶和華<03068>給我主人<0113>兒子<01121>所預定<03198><8689>的妻。
[big5] 我心裡的話還沒有說完，利百加就出來，肩頭上扛著水瓶，下到井旁打水。我便對他說：請你給我水喝。
[bbe] And even while I was saying this to myself, Rebekah came out with her vessel on her arm; and she went down to the spring to get water; and I said to her, Give me a drink.
[dunv] 我心<03820>裡的話還沒有說<01696><8763>完<03615><8762>，利百加<07259>就出來<03318><8802>，肩頭<07926>上扛著水瓶<03537>，下到<03381><8799>井<05869>旁打<07579><8799>水。我便對他說<0559><8799>：請你給我水喝<08248><8685>。
[big5] 他就急忙從肩頭上拿下瓶來，說：請喝！我也給你的駱駝喝。我便喝了；他又給我的駱駝喝了。
[bbe] And straight away she took down her vessel from her arm, and said, Take a drink, and I will get water for your camels.
[dunv] 他就急忙<04116><8762>從肩頭上拿下<03381><8686>瓶<03537>來，說<0559><8799>：請喝<08354><8798>！我也給<08248><00>你的駱駝<01581>喝<08248><8686>。我便喝<08354><8799>了；他又給<08248><00>我的駱駝<01581>喝<08248><8689>了。
[big5] 我問他說：你是誰的女兒？他說：我是密迦與拿鶴之子彼土利的女兒。我就把環子戴在他鼻子上，把鐲子戴在他兩手上。
[bbe] And questioning her, I said, Whose daughter are you? And she said, The daughter of Bethuel, the son of Nahor, and Milcah his wife. Then I put the ring on her nose and the ornaments on her hands.
[dunv] 我問<07592><8799>他說<0559><8799>：你是誰的女兒<01323>？他說<0559><8799>：我是密迦<04435>{<03205>}{<8804>}與拿鶴<05152>之子<01121>彼土利<01328>的女兒<01323>。我就把環子<05141>戴<07760><8799>在他鼻子<0639>上，把鐲子<06781>戴在他兩手<03027>上。
[big5] 隨後我低頭向耶和華下拜，稱頌耶和華─我主人亞伯拉罕的神；因為他引導我走合式的道路，使我得著我主人兄弟的孫女，給我主人的兒子為妻。
[bbe] And with bent head I gave worship and praise to the Lord, the God of my master Abraham, by whom I had been guided in the right way, to get the daughter of my master's brother for his son.
[dunv] 隨後我低頭<06915><8799>向耶和華<03068>下拜<07812><8691>，稱頌<01288><8762>耶和華<03068>─我主人<0113>亞伯拉罕<085>的神<0430>；因為他引導<05148><8689>我走合式<0571>的道路<01870>，使我得著<03947><8800>我主人<0113>兄弟<0251>的孫女<01323>，給我主人的兒子<01121>為妻。
[big5] 現在你們若願以慈愛誠實待我主人，就告訴我；若不然，也告訴我，使我可以或向左，或向右。
[bbe] And now, say if you will do what is good and right for my master or not, in order that it may be clear to me what I have to do.
[dunv] 現在你們若願<03426>以慈愛<02617>誠實<0571>待<06213><8802>我主人<0113>，就告訴<05046><8685>我；若不然，也告訴<05046><8685>我，使我可以或向<06437><8799>左<08040>，或<0176>向右<03225>。
[big5] 拉班和彼土利回答說：這事乃出於耶和華，我們不能向你說好說歹。
[bbe] Then Laban and Bethuel said in answer, This is the Lord's doing: it is not for us to say Yes or No to you.

[bbe] See, here is Rebekah: take her and go, and let her be your master's son's wife, as the Lord has said.

[big5] 亞伯拉罕的僕人聽見他們這話，就向耶和華俯伏在地。
[bbe] And at these words, Abraham's servant went down on his face and gave praise to the Lord.

[bbe] Then he took jewels of silver and jewels of gold and fair robes and gave them to Rebekah: and he gave things of value to her mother and her brother.

[bbe] Then he and the men who were with him had food and drink, and took their rest there that night; and in the morning he got up, and said, Let me now go back to my master.

[bbe] But her brother and her mother said, Let the girl be with us a week or ten days, and then she may go.

[bbe] And he said, Do not keep me; the Lord has given a good outcome to my journey; let me now go back to my master.

[bbe] And they said, We will send for the girl, and let her make the decision.

[big5] 就叫了利百加來，問他說：你和這人同去嗎？利百加說：我去。
[bbe] And they sent for Rebekah and said to her, Are you ready to go with this man? And she said, I am ready.

[big5] 於是他們打發妹子利百加和他的乳母，同亞伯拉罕的僕人，並跟從僕人的，都走了。
[bbe] So they sent their sister Rebekah and her servant with Abraham's servant and his men.

[big5] 他們就給利百加祝福說：我們的妹子啊，願你作千萬人的母！願你的後裔得著仇敵的城門！
[bbe] And they gave Rebekah their blessing, saying, O sister, may you be the mother of thousands and ten thousands; and may your seed overcome all those who make war against them.

[bbe] So Rebekah and her servant-women went with the man, seated on the camels; and so the servant took Rebekah and went on his way.

[bbe] Now Isaac had come through the waste land to Beer-lahai-roi; for he was living in the South.

[big5] 天將晚，以撒出來在田間默想，舉目一看，見來了些駱駝。
[bbe] And when the evening was near, he went wandering out into the fields, and lifting up his eyes he saw camels coming.

[bbe] And when Rebekah, looking up, saw Isaac, she got down from her camel,

[big5] 問那僕人說：這田間走來迎接我們的是誰？僕人說：是我的主人。利百加就拿帕子蒙上臉。
[bbe] And said to the servant, Who is that man coming to us through the field? And the servant said, It is my master: then she took her veil, covering her face with it.

[big5] 僕人就將所辦的一切事都告訴以撒。
[bbe] Then the servant gave Isaac the story of all he had done.

[big5] 以撒便領利百加進了他母親撒拉的帳棚，娶了他為妻，並且愛他。以撒自從他母親不在了，這才得了安慰。
[bbe] And Isaac took Rebekah into his tent and she became his wife; and in his love for her, Isaac was comforted after his father's death.
