[bbe] Now the years of Sarah's life were a hundred and twenty-seven.

[big5] 撒拉死在迦南地的基列亞巴，就是希伯崙。亞伯拉罕為他哀慟哭號。
[bbe] And Sarah's death took place in Kiriath-arba, that is, Hebron, in the land of Canaan: and Abraham went into his house, weeping and sorrowing for Sarah.
[dunv] 撒拉<08283>死<04191><8799>在迦南<03667>地<0776>的基列亞巴<07153>，就是希伯崙<02275>。亞伯拉罕<085>{<0935>}{<8799>}為他<08283>哀慟<05594><8800>哭號<01058><8800>。
[big5] 後來亞伯拉罕從死人面前起來，對赫人說：
[bbe] And Abraham came from his dead and said to the children of Heth,

[big5] 我在你們中間是外人，是寄居的。求你們在這裡給我一塊地，我好埋葬我的死人，使他不在我眼前。
[bbe] I am living among you as one from a strange country: give me some land here as my property, so that I may put my dead to rest.
[dunv] 我在你們中間是外人<01616>，是寄居的<08453>。求你們在這裡給<05414><8798>我一塊地<0272><06913>，我好埋葬<06912><8799>我的死人<04191><8801>，使他不在我眼前<06440>。
[big5] 赫人回答亞伯拉罕說：
[bbe] And in answer the children of Heth said to Abraham,
[dunv] 赫<02845>人<01121>回答<06030><8799>亞伯拉罕<085>說<0559><8800>：
[big5] 我主請聽。你在我們中間是一位尊大的王子，只管在我們最好的墳地裡埋葬你的死人；我們沒有一人不容你在他的墳地裡埋葬你的死人。
[bbe] My lord, truly you are a great chief among us; take the best of our resting-places for your dead; not one of us will keep back from you a place where you may put your dead to rest.
[dunv] 我主<0113>請聽<08085><8798>。你在我們中間<08432>是一位尊大<0430>的王子<05387>，只管在我們最好的<04005>墳地<06913>裡埋葬<06912><8798>你的死人<04191><8801>；我們沒有一人<03808><0376>不容<03607><8799>你在他的墳地<06913>裡埋葬<06912><8800>你的死人<04191><8801>。
[big5] 亞伯拉罕就起來，向那地的赫人下拜，
[bbe] And Abraham got up and gave honour to the children of Heth, the people of that land.

[bbe] And he said to them, If you will let me put my dead to rest here, make a request for me to Ephron, the son of Zohar,
[dunv] 對{<01696>}{<8762>}他們說<0559><8800>：你們若有意<03426><05315>叫我埋葬<06912><8800>我的死人<04191><8801>，使他不在我眼前<06440>，就請聽<08085><8798>我的話，為我求<06293><8798>瑣轄<06714>的兒子<01121>以弗崙<06085>，
[big5] 把田頭上那麥比拉洞給我；他可以按著足價賣給我，作我在你們中間的墳地。
[bbe] That he will give me the hollow in the rock named Machpelah, which is his property at the end of his field; let him give it to me for its full price as a resting-place for my dead among you.
[dunv] 把田<07704>頭<07097>上那麥比拉<04375>洞<04631>給<05414><8799>我；他可以按著足<04392><00>價<03701>{<04392>}賣給<05414><8799>我，作我在你們中間<08432>的墳<06913>地<0272>。
[big5] 當時以弗崙正坐在赫人中間。於是，赫人以弗崙在城門出入的赫人面前對亞伯拉罕說：
[bbe] Now Ephron was seated among the children of Heth: and Ephron the Hittite gave Abraham his answer in the hearing of the children of Heth, and of all those who came into his town, saying,
[dunv] 當時以弗崙<06085>正坐<03427><8802>在赫<02845>人<01121>中間<08432>。於是，赫人<02850>以弗崙<06085>在城<05892>門<08179>出入<0935><8802>的赫<02845>人<01121>面前<0241>對{<06030>}{<8799>}亞伯拉罕<085>說<0559><8800>：
[big5] 不然，我主請聽。我送給你這塊田，連田間的洞也送給你，在我同族的人面前都給你，可以埋葬你的死人。
[bbe] No, my lord, I will give you the field with the hollow in the rock; before all the children of my people will I give it to you for a resting-place for your dead.
[dunv] 不然<03808>，我主<0113>請聽<08085><8798>。我送給<05414><8804>你這塊田<07704>，連田間的洞<04631>也送給<05414><8804>你，在我同族<05971>的人<01121>面前<05869>都給<05414><8804>你，可以埋葬<06912><8798>你的死人<04191><8801>。
[big5] 亞伯拉罕就在那地的人民面前下拜，
[bbe] And Abraham went down on his face before the people of the land.
[dunv] 亞伯拉罕<085>就在那地<0776>的人民<05971>面前<06440>下拜<07812><8691>，
[big5] 在他們面前對以弗崙說：你若應允，請聽我的話。我要把田價給你，求你收下，我就在那裡埋葬我的死人。
[bbe] And Abraham said to Ephron, in the hearing of the people of the land, If only you will give ear to me, I will give you the price of the field; take it, and let me put my dead to rest there.
[dunv] 在他們<05971><0776>面前<0241>對{<01696>}{<8762>}以弗崙<06085>說<0559><8800>：你若<03863>應允，請聽<08085><8798>我的話。我要把田<07704>價<03701>給<05414><8804>你，求你收下<03947><8798>，我就在那裡埋葬<06912><8799>我的死人<04191><8801>。
[big5] 以弗崙回答亞伯拉罕說：
[bbe] So Ephron said to Abraham,
[dunv] 以弗崙<06085>回答<06030><8799>亞伯拉罕<085>說<0559><8800>：
[big5] 我主請聽。值四百舍客勒銀子的一塊田，在你我中間還算什麼呢？只管埋葬你的死人吧！
[bbe] My lord, give ear to me: the value of the land is four hundred shekels; what is that between me and you? so put your dead to rest there.
[dunv] 我主<0113>請聽<08085><8798>。值四<0702>百<03967>舍客勒<08255>銀子<03701>的一塊田<0776>，在你我中間<0996>還算甚麼呢？只管埋葬<06912><8798>你的死人<04191><8801>罷！
[big5] 亞伯拉罕聽從了以弗崙，照著他在赫人面前所說的話，把買賣通用的銀子平了四百舍客勒給以弗崙。
[bbe] And Abraham took note of the price fixed by Ephron in the hearing of the children of Heth, and gave him four hundred shekels in current money.
[dunv] 亞伯拉罕<085>聽從<08085><8799>了以弗崙<06085>，照著他<085>在赫<02845>人<01121>面前<0241>所說<01696><8765>的話，把買賣<05503><8802>通用<05674><8802>的銀子<03701>平<08254><8799>了四<0702>百<03967>舍客勒<08255><03701>給以弗崙<06085>。
[big5] 於是，麥比拉、幔利前、以弗崙的那塊田和其中的洞，並田間四圍的樹木，
[bbe] So Ephron's field at Machpelah near Mamre, with the hollow in the rock and all the trees in the field and round it,
[dunv] 於是，麥比拉<04375>、幔利<04471>前<06440>、以弗崙<06085>的那塊田<07704>和其中的洞<04631>，並田<07704>間四<01366>圍<05439>的樹木<06086>，
[big5] 都定準歸與亞伯拉罕，乃是他在赫人面前並城門出入的人面前買妥的。
[bbe] Became the property of Abraham before the eyes of the children of Heth and of all who came into the town.
[dunv] 都定準<06965><8799>歸與亞伯拉罕<085>，乃是他在赫<02845>人<01121>面前<05869>並城<05892>門<08179>出入<0935><8802>的人面前買妥<04736>的。
[big5] 此後，亞伯拉罕把他妻子撒拉埋葬在迦南地幔利前的麥比拉田間的洞裡。（幔利就是希伯崙）。
[bbe] Then Abraham put Sarah his wife to rest in the hollow rock in the field of Machpelah near Mamre, that is, Hebron in the land of Canaan.
[dunv] 此後<0310><03651>，亞伯拉罕<085>把他妻子<0802>撒拉<08283>埋葬<06912><8804>在迦南<03667>地<0776>幔利<04471>前<06440>的麥比拉<04375>田<07704>間的洞<04631>裡。〈幔利就是希伯崙<02275>〉。
[big5] 從此，那塊田和田間的洞就藉著赫人定準歸與亞伯拉罕作墳地。
[bbe] And the field and the hollow rock were handed over to Abraham as his property by the children of Heth.
[dunv] 從此，那塊田<07704>和田間的洞<04631>就藉著赫<02845>人<01121>定準<06965><8799>歸與亞伯拉罕<085>作墳<06913>地<0272>。
