[big5] 亞伯蘭的妻子撒萊不給他生兒女。撒萊有一個使女，名叫夏甲，是埃及人。
[bbe] Now Sarai, Abram's wife, had given him no children; and she had a servant, a woman of Egypt whose name was Hagar.
[dunv] 亞伯蘭<087>的妻子<0802>撒萊<08297>不<03808>給他生<03205><00>兒女<03205><8804>。撒萊有一個使女<08198>，名<08034>叫夏甲<01904>，是埃及人<04713>。
[big5] 撒萊對亞伯蘭說：耶和華使我不能生育。求你和我的使女同房，或者我可以因他得孩子【原文作被建立】。亞伯蘭聽從了撒萊的話。
[bbe] And Sarai said to Abram, See, the Lord has not let me have children; go in to my servant, for I may get a family through her. And Abram did as Sarai said.
[dunv] 撒萊<08297>對亞伯蘭<087>說<0559><8799>：耶和華<03068>使我不能<06113><8804>生育<03205><8800>。求你和我的使女<08198>同房<0935><8798>，或者<0194>我可以因他得孩子<01129><8735>【原文作被建立】。亞伯蘭<087>聽從<08085><8799>了撒萊<08297>的話<06963>。
[big5] 於是亞伯蘭的妻子撒萊將使女埃及人夏甲給了丈夫為妾；那時亞伯蘭在迦南已經住了十年。
[bbe] So after Abram had been living for ten years in the land of Canaan, Sarai took Hagar, her Egyptian servant, and gave her to Abram for his wife.
[dunv] 於是亞伯蘭<087>的妻子<0802>撒萊<08297>將<03947><8799>使女<08198>埃及人<04713>夏甲<01904>給<05414><8799>了丈夫<0376>為妾<0802>；那時亞伯蘭<087>在迦南<03667>{<0776>}已經<07093>住<03427><8800>了十<06235>年<08141>。
[big5] 亞伯蘭與夏甲同房，夏甲就懷了孕；他見自己有孕，就小看他的主母。
[bbe] And he went in to Hagar and she became with child, and when she saw that she was with child, she no longer had any respect for her master's wife.
[dunv] 亞伯蘭與夏甲<01904>同房<0935><8799>，夏甲就懷了孕<02029><8799>；他見<07200><8799>自己有孕<02029><8804>，就小看<07043><8799>{<05869>}他的主母<01404>。
[big5] 撒萊對亞伯蘭說：我因你受屈。我將我的使女放在你懷中，他見自己有了孕，就小看我。願耶和華在你我中間判斷。
[bbe] And Sarai said to Abram, May my wrong be on you: I gave you my servant for your wife and when she saw that she was with child, she no longer had any respect for me: may the Lord be judge between you and me.
[dunv] 撒萊<08297>對亞伯蘭<087>說<0559><8799>：我因你受屈<02555>。我將<05414><8804>我的使女<08198>放在你懷<02436>中，他見<07200><8799>自己有了孕<02029><8804>，就小看<07043><8799>{<05869>}我。願耶和華<03068>在你我中間判斷<08199><8799>。
[big5] 亞伯蘭對撒萊說：使女在你手下，你可以隨意待他。撒萊苦待他，他就從撒萊面前逃走了。
[bbe] And Abram said, The woman is in your power; do with her whatever seems good to you. And Sarai was cruel to her, so that she went running away from her.
[dunv] 亞伯蘭<087>對撒萊<08297>說<0559><8799>：使女<08198>在你手<03027>下，你可以隨意<02896><05869>待<06213><8798>他。撒萊<08297>苦待<06031><8762>他，他就從撒萊面<06440>前逃走<01272><8799>了。
[big5] 耶和華的使者在曠野書珥路上的水泉旁遇見他，
[bbe] And an angel of the Lord came to her by a fountain of water in the waste land, by the fountain on the way to Shur.
[dunv] 耶和華<03068>的使者<04397>在曠野<04057>{<05869>}書珥<07793>路<01870>上的水<04325>泉<05869>旁遇見<04672><8799>他，
[big5] 對他說：撒萊的使女夏甲，你從哪裡來？要往哪裡去？夏甲說：我從我的主母撒萊面前逃出來。
[bbe] And he said, Hagar, Sarai's servant, where have you come from and where are you going? And she said, I am running away from Sarai, my master's wife.
[dunv] 對他說<0559><8799>：撒萊<08297>的使女<08198>夏甲<01904>，你從那裡<0935><8804>來<0335>？要往那裡去<03212><8799>？夏甲說<0559><8799>：我從我的主母<01404>撒萊<08297>面<06440>前逃<01272><8802>出來。
[big5] 耶和華的使者對他說：你回到你主母那裡，服在他手下；
[bbe] And the angel said to her, Go back, and put yourself under her authority.
[dunv] 耶和華<03068>的使者<04397>對他說<0559><8799>：你回<07725><8798>到你主母<01404>那裡，服<06031><8690>在他手<03027>下；
[big5] 又說：我必使你的後裔極其繁多，甚至不可勝數；
[bbe] And the angel of the Lord said, Your seed will be greatly increased so that it may not be numbered.
[dunv] {<04397>}{<03068>}又說<0559><8799>：我必使你的後裔<02233>極其<07235><8687>繁多<07235><8686>，甚至不可勝數<05608><8735>{<07230>}；
[big5] 並說：你如今懷孕要生一個兒子，可以給他起名叫以實瑪利，因為耶和華聽見了你的苦情。【以實瑪利就是神聽見的意思】
[bbe] And the angel of the Lord said, See, you are with child and will give birth to a son, to whom you will give the name Ishmael, because the ears of the Lord were open to your sorrow.
[dunv] {<04397>}{<03068>}並說<0559><8799>：{<02009>}你如今懷孕<02030>要生<03205><8802>一個兒子<01121>，可以給他起名<08034>叫<07121><8804>以實瑪利<03458>，因為耶和華<03068>聽見<08085><8804>了你的苦情<06040>。【以實瑪利就是神聽見的意思】
[big5] 他為人必像野驢。他的手要攻打人，人的手也要攻打他；他必住在眾弟兄的東邊。
[bbe] And he will be like a mountain ass among men; his hand will be against every man and every man's hand against him, and he will keep his place against all his brothers.
[dunv] 他為人<0120>必像野<06501>驢。他的手<03027>要攻打人，人的手<03027>也要攻打他；他必住<07931><8799>在眾弟兄<0251>的東邊<06440>。
[big5] 夏甲就稱那對他說話的耶和華為看顧人的神。因而說：在這裡我也看見那看顧我的嗎？
[bbe] And to the Lord who was talking with her she gave this name, You are a God who is seen; for she said, Have I not even here in the waste land had a vision of God and am still living?
[dunv] 夏甲就稱<07121><8799>{<08034>}那對他說話<01696><8802>的耶和華<03068>為看顧<07210>人的神<0410>。因而說<0559><8804>：在這裡<01988>我也看見<07200><8804>那<0310>看顧<07210>我的麼？
[big5] 所以這井名叫庇耳拉海萊。這井正在加低斯和巴列中間。
[bbe] So that fountain was named, Fountain of Life and Vision: it is between Kadesh and Bered.
[dunv] 所以這井<0875>名叫<07121><8804>庇耳拉海萊<0883><02416>。這井正在加低斯<06946>和巴列<01260>中間。
[big5] 後來夏甲給亞伯蘭生了一個兒子；亞伯蘭給他起名叫以實瑪利。
[bbe] And Hagar gave birth to a child, the son of Abram, to whom Abram gave the name of Ishmael.
[dunv] 後來夏甲<01904>給亞伯蘭<087>生<03205><8799>了一個兒子<01121>；亞伯蘭<087>給他<01121>起名叫<07121><8799>以實瑪利<03458>{<01904>}{<03205>}{<8804>}。
[big5] 夏甲給亞伯蘭生以實瑪利的時候，亞伯蘭年八十六歲。
[bbe] Abram was eighty-six years old when Hagar gave birth to Ishmael.
[dunv] 夏甲<01904>給亞伯蘭<087>生<03205><8800>以實瑪利<03458>的時候，亞伯蘭<087>年<08141>八十<08084><08141>六<08337>歲<01121>。
