[big5] 摩西娶了古實女子為妻。米利暗和亞倫因他所娶的古實女子就毀謗他，說：
[bbe] Now Miriam and Aaron said evil against Moses, because of the Cushite woman to whom he was married, for he had taken a Cushite woman as his wife.
[big5] 難道耶和華單與摩西說話，不也與我們說話嗎？這話耶和華聽見了。
[bbe] And they said, Have the words of the Lord been given to Moses only? have they not come to us? And the Lord took note of it.
[big5] （摩西為人極其謙和，勝過世上的眾人。）
[bbe] Now the man Moses was more gentle than any other man on earth.
[big5] 耶和華忽然對摩西、亞倫、米利暗說：你們三個人都出來，到會幕這裡。他們三個人就出來了。
[bbe] And suddenly the Lord said to Moses and Aaron and Miriam, Come out, you three, to the Tent of meeting. And the three of them went out.
[big5] 耶和華在雲柱中降臨，站在會幕門口，召亞倫和米利暗，二人就出來了。
[bbe] And the Lord came down in a pillar of cloud, taking his place at the door of the Tent, and made Aaron and Miriam come before him.
[big5] 耶和華說：你們且聽我的話：你們中間若有先知，我─耶和華必在異象中向他顯現，在夢中與他說話。
[bbe] And he said, Now give ear to my words: if there is a prophet among you I will give him knowledge of myself in a vision and will let my words come to him in a dream.
[big5] 我的僕人摩西不是這樣；他是在我全家盡忠的。
[bbe] My servant Moses is not so; he is true to me in all my house:
[big5] 我要與他面對面說話，乃是明說，不用謎語，並且他必見我的形像。你們毀謗我的僕人摩西，為何不懼怕呢？
[bbe] With him I will have talk mouth to mouth, openly and not in dark sayings; and with his eyes he will see the form of the Lord: why then had you no fear of saying evil against my servant Moses?
[big5] 耶和華就向他們二人發怒而去。
[bbe] And burning with wrath against them, the Lord went away.
[big5] 雲彩從會幕上挪開了，不料，米利暗長了大痲瘋，
[bbe] And the cloud was moved from over the Tent; and straight away Miriam became a leper, as white as snow: and Aaron, looking at Miriam, saw that she was a leper.
[big5] 有雪那樣白。亞倫一看米利暗長了大痲瘋，就對摩西說：我主啊，求你不要因我們愚昧犯罪，便將這罪加在我們身上。
[bbe] Then Aaron said to Moses, O my lord, let not our sin be on our heads, for we have done foolishly and are sinners.
[big5] 求你不要使他像那出母腹、肉已半爛的死胎。
[bbe] Let her not be as one dead, whose flesh is half wasted when he comes out from the body of his mother.
[big5] 於是摩西哀求耶和華說：神啊，求你醫治他！
[bbe] And Moses, crying to the Lord, said, Let my prayer come before you, O God, and make her well.
[big5] 耶和華對摩西說：他父親若吐唾沫在他臉上，他豈不蒙羞七天嗎？現在要把他在營外關鎖七天，然後才可以領他進來。
[bbe] And the Lord said to Moses, If her father had put a mark of shame on her, would she not be shamed for seven days? Let her be shut up outside the tent-circle for seven days, and after that she may come in again.
[big5] 於是米利暗關鎖在營外七天。百姓沒有行路，直等到把米利暗領進來。
[bbe] So Miriam was shut up outside the tent-circle for seven days: and the people did not go forward on their journey till Miriam had come in again.
[big5] 以後百姓從哈洗錄起行，在巴蘭的曠野安營。
[bbe] After that, the people went on from Hazeroth and put up their tents in the waste land of Paran.
